I never really watch L&O except the occasional repeat on TNT or whatever. But if any show deserves to break Gunsmoke’s record it’s Law and Order. Give them one more season just for that!

C’mon, this is one of my only remaining must-see shows. I guess I shouldn’t be surprised – NBC cancels every other good show out there, why should this one be any different? They must want to put another crappy reality show on.
nah, just some knock-off set in LA that’ll probably be populated with a bunch of 20-something, cutie characters – bet that won’t last 20 seasons

You’re not kidding! I tried to watch SVU last night and it was laughably terrible. The writing on that show is unacceptably bad. I love Chris Meloni, but they need to put that show out of it’s misery.

Totally agree. The latest ensemble on L&O is the best ever, and it just keeps getting better. I love Lupo, love Cutter, love Jack as the D.A.! SVU is overwrought and sucks badly. It’s the one that is tired and ought to be REtired. Please NBC, don’t screw this up!!

Sharon Stone was so good on “The Pracitce” when she did a guest spot. Must be the wrighting on SVU and the dirctors that makes her make those faces. I mean I don’t watch SVU anymore but from the other comments about the faces she makes. Should watch just to see that, but alas I can not sit there SVU anymore it has gotten so bad.
