13 eps sounds about right for what will likely be the final season of “Chuck”. Also sounds right for a mid-season or spring replacement.

The entire premis of Chuck in the hands of most of the TV world would have jumped the shark in one season.
but No.. The characters grow, the paradgm shifts and still at the center it is a romance.

Now we have a Love Team show as the “Heart to Heart” homage sign posted.
Chuck is himself and yet a grown up spy.. who now is helping Morgan become a winner, and will soon have to save his beloved Sister as she is sucked into the malstrom that is Operation Bartowski.
So far THREE core Paradigm shifts and the show still is our #1 Same night watch show with Castle.. all others may sit days on the DVR.
You said it all–and very well. I wouldn’t miss Chuck for anything.
What character growth? The Chuck and Sarah from the end of season two are completely different from the ones we meet at the beginning of season three. That isn’t growth, that’s change. And not for the better. It can’t be over soon enough for me.

Heroes and Law and Order used to be gems, but are both way past their primes. Neither is as good as they used to be. I think Chuck has just gotten even better this season.

It’s almost 21 seasons in New York…You see the same thing time and again…I love the show don’t get me wrong but there aren’t the same cases in NYC as in LA…the demographics are different…There are the Mob Types as a dominate figure in L&O do you think they will have that in LA?
I foresee gangs, illegal immigration, murder for hire celebs, It will be a fresh spin on it.
And Chuck is a great show shows that even us NERDS can be something great in this world.
