I am disappointed with the cancellation of Law and Order. It was always a weekly must-see. CI without Goren and Eames is a no-see.

I have come to one conclusion after the series finale: I simply cannot live without L&O! Can we demand of NBC that they continue the series? Consider this my signature (and pass it along)..

My father and I ( when he was alive would watch this sho its early incarnation on A&E) I almost feel as though (i’m 42 by the way) part of my childhood has been lost. And hile we may all have to grow up, just like peter pan, I wasn’t ready to lose this part of my childhood.

  • Jatika

Law & Order New Orleans?Isn’t that a contridiction in terms? (Sorry, couldn’t resist…)

  • Brett

Anthony Anderson already bombed with that series right before he joined the L&O cast; it was called K-Ville.

  • Barbara

Oh Kyle, look up the definition of sarcasm. And then work out which of you is retarded.

  • Flyer

And you, Kyle, are apparently incapable of recognizing sarcasm. Maybe you should actually read posts before you go around hurling insults that just make yourself look bad.

  • RMW

“My Own Worst Enemy” was actually a scripted show … and not a bad one at that. I thought the pilot was particularly good.

  • Jill

Hey, we had the same thought at the same time!

  • RMW

Yeah! What a bunch of bollocks that show was.

  • Kristine

Considering the show spent most of this season on FRIDAY night, it wasn’t terrible. If they’d stopped moving it around (and left it on at 10 during the week, but how dare we not be subjected to Jay Leno in primetime) it would have done fine. NBC is run by a bunch of idiots.

  • G.R.

I was REALLY getting into this show in its last few seasons, in large part because of Lupo, Bernard and Cutter. I will most certainly miss them. :(

Hey, as I’m the only LA native here on these boards it seems, I will say that we have just as much grit and crime as NYC. (Yea I’m proud. LOL. And for your entertainment – check out the movies: Training Day (with Denzel Washington) and Colors (with Sean Penn). That’ll show you the grit of the city.
But it will have a different look – yes, just because the weather’s different here, etc. I hope that they keep it the same and NOT try to “pretty” it up.

  • GoMe!

That was kind of the whole point of the show…but whatever to each his own.

Why in gods name should NBC cancel SVU? Not only is SVU getting higher ratings than L and O, it’s also been getting more emmys nominations recently. It wouldn’t make any sense.

If Law and Order fans wanted to keep this show, they should’ve actually WATCHED it when it aired and stopped watching SVU so it would get lower ratings. You have no one to blame but yourselves. NBC did what they had to do!

  • Kelly in Seattle

WTF??? Are you mentally ill? Or just a douche bag?

  • Brett

Los Angeles, being the most interesting city in the world, will make L&O:L.A. the best L&O series in franchise history. No more of that stupid New York slang (though none of our courthouses have as many steps as tha great NY courthouse that served as a backdrop for so many L&O episode endings).

  • Brett

    It’s Connie Rubirosa.

  • Maggie

Everyone who is upset at the cancellation should send NBC an email to let them know. Go to the NBC website and hit the link on the bottom of the page for “contact us.”

  • ks

    you summed it up perfectly

  • Jany

    Good idea!

  • D

    I like Connie and Lupo!

  • karyn

I know what you mean by cancelling good shows. I thought this was the best cast that law and order has had in years!

  • Lennep

Steven Hill could out act Thompson and Wiest without opening his mouth. His facial expressions and hand gestures spoke volumes. Watch an old ep sometime and focus on Hill. I’ve come to like Sisto and Anderson but have to agree that Briscoe and Green were the best partners.

  • Leslie

I am not over 50 … I have been watching the show since day 1 and in 1990 I was only 23… so the networks have NO IDEA who is actually watching the show… Neilsen Shmelson… I know ALOT of people my age and younger who LOVE L&O and have been watching it for years as well.. NBC you are IDIOTS!

  • Leslie

George Dzunda was murdered … he can’t come back – this isn’t LOST
