Insiders are confirming that the following NBC schedule — which the trades got a hold of this AM — is legit. The highlights? 30 Rock moving to 8:30, Parks and Recreation being held to midseason, and the romantic anthology Love Bites landing the Thursday at 10 pm perch.

this is a bad, i mean a BAD! schedule… why is Community leading thursday????why is chuck on Monday?? I love chuck, but i think it would probly have a better chance on Friday than monday!! And why did they order like 5 Comedy’s if they wernt gna open up another comedy night???? what a waste…..

NBC has their heads up their asses. Parks is brilliant, and this Outsourced sounds supremely stupid.

I don’t know about the series, but check out Outsourced the movie. It’s smart and funny and full of jabs about soulless corporate jerks and the decisions they make. “Mr Toad” is totally changed by his experience.
Parks move to mid-season… might have something to do with Amy Poehler’s pregnancy….

And by the looks of this schedule, they could have kept L&O for at least one more season. I don’t see any of these new shows that I would consider watching. I’m even on the fence about LOLA
I think Parks and Rec is being moved to midseason because of Amy’s pregnancy.
I’m pretty sad that P&R is going to be a mid season show this year!!! I love it. P&R and Community are the best of Thursday’s on NBC.

Gah, Parenthood just doesn’t work for me in that timeslot. I want to watch it but it’s up against The Good Wife.
I watch Parenthood on Hulu and I would like it to be on earlier. I think they should cut Biggest Loser to one hour and move Parenthood to 9PM.

Yup- I DVR Parenthood to watch on Wednesday and watch “The Good Wife” in real time. Both shows are awesome- NBC should pimp Parenthood harder, it’s good…second favorite new drama (hell, drama period) after “The Good Wife”.
I agree. The Good Wife and Parenthood are not only the best “new” dramas this season but two of the best overall.
I’m with you, I just don’t get why Parenthood is on at 10pm. I would think Parenthood is a good family show that deserves an 8pm time slot.
How is a show about family on at 10pm while SVU is about terrible crimes being commited on at 9? I love SVU but its a 10pm show.

There’s really no need to have a stockpile of good shows competing with each other. Yes, you can Hulu Parenthood or the Good Wife, but how do you get the all important Nielson ratings for the Hulued show?
Purely from a content point of view I had hoped Chuck might move to 9 or 10 rather than 8, just to let it kick it up a gear, but frankly: it got another season at all, so I won’t complain.
