CBS has ordered four new series, including its reboot of Hawaii 5-0 starring Alex O’Loughlin, the Jim Belushi legal drama Defenders, the Tom Selleck police drama Blue Bloods, and the plus-sized comedy Mike and Molly.
Noticeably missing from the Eye’s first wave of pickups: The Criminal Minds spinoff. But CBS’ upfront is still two days away, so there’s still time. THIS JUST IN: The Minds offshoot is a go!

I agree with you Carolina Girl. I think the actress that plays Callie is horrible!! I thought to myself last week, “has she always been this bad or did I just ignore it?” LOL I watch the CSI shows on demand now, I don’t want to waste my DVR space.
I agree too! I really hope to see Cold Case back for another season. I have never been able to watch CSI:Miami due to my extreme aversion to what Davis Caruso calls acting, but I’m OK with the other two versions.

The words plus-sized comedy make me cringe. It’s going to be another (unfunny) show where they make fun of fat people (again and again). Because we all know anyone over a size 6 is horribly ugly (sarcasm). I hope it goes down in flames.
Have you watched Drop Dead Diva? This is a very entertaining show and while they did touch on her size in the first few episodes they are focusing more on her relationships and not too much is even said about her weight. This is a great show!
but the premise of mike & molly is based around their size — they meet at overeater’s anonymous.
I adore Drop Dead Diva. I just wish they’d air the repeats at a decent hour! Thanks to DDD I’m finally considering getting a DVR.

DDD is very funny and it doesn’t concentrate on the fact that the main character is plus size. She encounters issues at times, but never whines or has low self-esteem. I think it’s a positive show. I know this is so wrong, but when I read that Mike and Molly meet at overeater’s anonymous I laughed out loud!!

All of the sexy that was so obvious in Moonlight was just missing in Three Rivers. I am still watching the reruns of Moonlight and lamenting the loss of Mick, Beth and Joseph!
If only he could act. Cold Case deserves renewal more than he deserves to be on TV again. Giving him another shot is an NBC level move.
