Image Credit: Tina Gill/PR PhotosNBC is resurrecting Heroes‘ Matt Parkman! Well, okay, not really. But Greg Grunberg, who played the ill-fated cop, just confirmed for me at the NBC upfront that that show’s cancellation has made it possible for him to become a series regular on the Peacock’s new romantic anthology, Love Bites.
Already, Grunberg was appearing in the pilot, as an average Joe who lucks into a chance to have sex with his celeb crush, fellow guest star Jennifer Love Hewitt. Now that he’s on board full time, though, maybe he’ll also get to score with Jessica Alba… or Ginnifer Goodwin… or…
The possibilities are endless.
Since Love Bites is the brainchild of Sex and the City‘s Cindy Chupack, you were probably already psyched about it. And since it stars Ugly Betty alum Becki Newton, so was I. But now that Grunberg’s a regular, can we all agree that this is probably gonna be kinda awesome? You can simply type “yes” below. (Additional reporting by Andy Patrick)

No.

Yee..
k sorry. YES.
How are there regulars on an anthology series?
Must be like Fantasy Island.
Maybe so…
Yes.
YES!!!
This show is for girls since they clearly hired a heartthrob.
did you miss the part where the show stars women that guys normally drool over?
To be honest…I’m tired of seeing Grunberg in EVERYTHING. I used to like him a lot but then it just got to be too much of him on screen.
With Grunberg promoted to series regular we can now officially say that this show is dead
yes, yes, a thousand times yes
Grunberg truly seems like one of the nicest, most down-to-earth guys in Hollywood. I’m happy for him. He deserves success!
I totally agree with you! Maybe I’ll actually check this show out now.
That settles it. I’ll now be tuning into Love Bites!
I will be even more awesome if he’s topless in a bunch of episodes. Greg Grunberg is hot!
Personally, I find him to be pretty terrible. But I was never going to watch a “romantic anthology” anyway, so I don’t really care.
