Image Credit: Perry: Sara De Boer/Retna; Tina Gill/PR Photos (2)ABC released its fall 2010 schedule in anticipation of its presentation to advertisers this afternoon in New York. New series for the 2010-11 season are Better Together, Body of Proof, Detroit 1-8-7, Happy Endings, Mr. Sunshine, My Generation, No Ordinary Family, Off the Map, Secret Millionaire, and The Whole Truth. ABC Entertainment President Stephen McPherson told EW that V will be back midseason in the Dancing with the Stars Results Show slot, behind the network’s other high-concept show No Ordinary Family.
“It was a Sophie’s Choice,” McPherson said about his decision to renew V and cancel FlashForward. “In the end, FlashForward didn’t engage audiences like we hoped. For V, I get more anecdotal calls and emails than any other show on the schedule. A huge part of rebuilding the network is about taking chances. Some shows just don’t work out.”

No descriptions?
wait when is off the map airing :S
if u ask me it should be on thursday with greys and private practice
other than wednesday? BORRRRING !!
agreed
I’ll second that and add very boring. DWTS is an embarassment, Castle is poor though I’m happy Fillion is finally in a success, but did it have to be this (!), Gray’s Anatomy & Private Practice are bad soaps, Desperate Houewives is now truly desperate and tired and while I don’t even see it on the schedule, V is poor sci-fi, and I love sci-fi, and will be canceled this season. Do like those three Wednesday night comedies though I think Modern Family is overrated and Cougar Town underrated. The men on this show are hilarious & the women are finally catching up to them.
So I guess you don’t watch anything on ABC. I watch TV for what its meant for. To give me an out to my everyday life. So if its mindless that’s fine with me. I do too much thinking at work and don’t want to work hard to be entertained.
This show is really good right now. The first 4 were ok, but since killing some characters and improving secondary stories i.e. Anna and Chad Decker, and the much better Tyler and Lisa story, killing Georgie and making it meaningful, and introducing Hobbes, oh and now Marcus actually has a role besides whispering in Annas ear… you get the picture? You should give it another shot, because with Lost leaving, this is probably going to be one best of the sci-fi tv shows, and it’s definitely a more intriguing story now.
Other than Thursday and Sunday, boring.
Yup. And the only thing I watch on Wednesdays is Modern Family and Cougar Town.
well, lost is gone. flashforward is gone. better off ted is gone. and i’m gone. not watching any show on here except modern family
ditto.
axing better off ted was a big mistake
100% agree.
I can’t believe they’d keep V–It’s soo voring—-and also Desperate, Gray’s, and Private… ABC sinks to a new low ea. season!!! Thank God for cable b/c TNT, USA, and a few other old but NEW networks have come out w/ Good New Series(the downside is you have to pay for extended cable, but it’s worth it–just to see a good drama)!!! by the way, Wednesdays on ABC is a decent night for cable comedy!!!
Parenthood is on NBC Andrew. It has been 1 years alrealdy since i retired from the military. I’m 30 ,rich but
still single. It’s hard to get a girlfriend in my town ,most of them like my money
more than like me.Ijust want to find my true love.so i uploaded my hot photos on

young or old hot guys .if you girls see
this comment,i hope you will check my photos out there.maybe you are the one who
i’m looking for!!!
Nothing on that scehdule jumped out at me as looking spectacular, nothing like LOST!
Parenthood??
Parenthood is on NBC
Well ABC, you are guaranteed to have my or my DVR’s viewing attention on Monday from 10 to 11 PERIOD. Saturday it depends on the teams, other than that I see a whole lot of nothing that would interest the male 18 to 49 demo
Wait, there are men who watch “Castle”?
Beckett is HOT, so yes some guys do watch it. I may check out some of the new shows, but over all looks like I am not going to be watching ABC. Miss Scrubs and Ted already.
hahaha good one
And don’t forget, there are some guys who think Nathan Fillion is hot. Sad that there’s a comedy that starts off ‘Better..’ that doesn’t end …Off Ted’. I doubt if any of these will be as good as that one.
Uh, dude, Captain Hammer is like totally a hero. Fillion’s this not-Brad-Pitt-pretty guy whom women swoon over. So, it makes us regular Joes feel good about ourselves. “That hottie over there is totally all Nathan Fillion about me.” True story.
You seriously don’t think that women (and men) don’t swoon over the truly hot Nathan Fillion?
Yes, there ARE men who watch “Castle”, & not just because I like Rick’s looks either!
Parenthood is on NBC Andrew.
Out of the new shows, I might watch No Ordinary Family, but that is it. Besides that, I’ll be sticking with Grey’s, Housewives, Modern Family, and Cougar Town.
Think I’ll just stick to Ausiello’s posts. This tells us nothing, just a copy and paste from another site.
I really wanted No Ordinary Family to be a success but it is going to get crushed by NCIS.
I agree. Sigh. Another (could be good) show preemptively killed by it’s time slot.
Other than Castle, none of this interests me. I wish they would have brought back Flash Forward.
I bet we won’t even get any closure with FF. This type of show should be made with a ready-made that wraps up loose ends if it doesn’t get picked up for a second season. If it does? Play the cliffhanger final episode. If it doesn’t? Play the wrapper.
And why oh why couldn’t it be Better Off Ted instead of that other Better whatever on Wednesday nights? (I know, I’m really flogging a dead, buried, and rotten horse, but I miss Phil and Lem…)
I agree, Mo. For a split second I saw “Better…” But no. ABC blew it by letting BOT expire.
From Ausiello: According to Jack Davenport (Lloyd), the series goes out with a (mostly satisfying) bang. “The last [two] episodes are pretty fantastic,” he raves. “We were all blown away when we read them. Do I think the story could have gone further? Sure. No one intends to do [just] one season — especially not with a grand concept-y show like this. I don’t think it will be unsatisfying, but it will not answer all the questions. The [producers] had to be mindful that they may only get one season, so there are some satisfactory wrap-ups.”
I agree with you Mo. Besides Castle, Greys, and Private Practice there is nothing new I want to watch. I refuse to watch anything new on this network anyway and now that LOST is gone, I’m sticking with the shows I already mentioned and that’s it. If they had placed Better Off Ted on Wednesday instead of this other “Better” show I might have started watching all the comedy shows on Wednesday night.
Only Monday nite is worth viewing. Other than that.. BLECH.
WOW, that is an NBC type line up. ABC really should have looked hard for a new LOST type show or at least something interesting. NBC on the other hand is looking up.
Why would I bother watching any new shows on ABC when they cancel them after one season?!
I agree, however, they usually dont make it more then 5 episodes anymore…
agreed
I totally agree. What is the point of investing your valuable time when all ABC wants to do is cancel good shows.
Don’t watch any of those shows that are returning (might catch -V-)and will give “Body of Proof” a shot but otherwise ABC doesn’t interest me at all. Lousy shows, Lousy network.
Dana Delany? I’m there. Everything else sounds like crap.
Dana Delany seems to always have bad luck with TV shows….already being stuck on Friday doesn’t bode well for this one either.
My thoughts exactly. And Thursdays at 8 for No Modern Family isn’t good either.
Shonda Rhimes is not talented. ABC will learn that sad truth next year. JJAbrams will have hit shows on FOX, NBC, and HBO. But none on ABC, WTF he practically made ABC relevent over the last 10 years.
her 2 shows are still on next year schedule .. stop passing the haterade dude. plus rumored to have additional series added. please stop passing around the haterade.
Please stop saying haterade.
Please stop using the word ‘haterade’. Lame.
