ABC please pick up Ghost Whisperer – We love the show great relationships with friends and each other (Jim & Melinda) almost like Hart to Hart, also love the whole after death story line.

Can anyone tell me when the season premiere of GW will start.

The comments that are on these posts are probably marketers that market these shows. Now I’m a real fan of Jennifer Love Hewitt and Ghost Whisperer. I used to watch this show every Friday when it was on! Now I don’t watch CBS because this show is gone! So disappointed. And I used to watch Numbers to.

Is there any new news about GW getting picked up by ABC!? Please my Fridays seem so weird without my GW! sad face….tear…

  • Rion

Agreed. Then they can get rid of Jamie Kennedy, in light of his recent break up with JLH.

  • madgaleena

I totally agree with this! He was always my favorite part of the show and I stopped watching when he left. I’ll come back if he does.

  • Lorie

ITA. Jay Mohr is so much better than Jamie Kennedy.

  • ACP

Yes! Please. I hated JK’s character, they can get rid of him and bring back Jay.

  • MaryJane

I also agree. Although I haven’t really liked GW much this season with the little brat the focus of so many episodes, it hasn’t been truly the same since Mohr left. I guess Kennedy is an alright actor, but Mohr’s character was so much more interesting and I always liked the working chemistry between Hewitt & Mohr much better than anything after Kennedy came on board. If GW is to survive on ABC, they could do themselves a favor by trying to get Mohr back on the show.

  • kervin

agreed too…honestly, jamie is such a bore..jay mohr was just amazing…and sadly, i kinda do agree wit some people here – personally, season 3 was my favourite…but after dat, the storylines just got boring…season 4 was all abt jim, and season 5 was supposed to be about aiden, his powers, the shadows and shinies but that plot seemed to have disappeared after the first few episodes and only began appearing again in the last couple of episodes…

but the episode that was aired last week “the dead ringer” was really good..it has been a really long time since i last enjoyed a GW episode that much..now i’m really looking forward to the finale this week…

  • Deborah Millikan

I agree….loved Jay Mohr! I thought the chemistry between Hewitt and Mohr was awesome. I am a big fan of Ghost Whisperer however was disappointed when Jay left but I continued to watch it. I hope ABC picks it up, I think it is a good family show and there really aren’t that many shows you can say that about. Hewitt has been fantastic throughout the series on doubt.

Seriously! It looks great. And a fun fact for Scrubs fans, it’s shot at Sacred Heart. In March my girlfriend and I took a vacation to LA and took a tour of Sacred Heart. We were told this show had just wrapped a couple of days before and heard some good things! Can’t wait for it!

  • bondfool

Seriously. This is perfect for ABC’s Wednesday comedy night. Ghost Whisperer doesn’t fit on their schedule.

  • Derek

Actually, GW and Christine have been on the same amount of time. GW premiered as part of the 05/06 fall season and Christine was a midseason tryout during the spring of 06. They’ve both been on for 5 seasons, so I agree with the others. Why would ABC not pick it up after publicly promising to be it’s salvation for the last 3 years? They’ve never expressed interest in GW and now they’re all over? Makes no sense.

  • Cameron

ABC produces Ghost Whisperer (ABC Studios). They stand to make a lot of money if it stays on the air. They don’t have to make a deal with anybody to keep in going since it would be completely in-house. They don’t produce Old Christine; ABC has to negotiate with Warner Brothers to get the show. They still want it. Different situations.

  • Teresa

Sorry jumped the gym. BBT will be on at 8pm so I’m okay now. Phewww!!!

  • Patrick

You are one of the few people making sense here.

Screw Ghost Whisperer and save one of the only HILARIOUS comedies on TV!

  • kgb

You missed out on some good shows, including the best show ever LOST.

  • Sara

OOh…and My Two Dads!! :::although that might have been NBC:::

  • Vikki Sixx

How can one forget Nancy from Elm St as an uber religious future nun???

  • MrMank

Brian, I’m not sure you have all your info right. BBT has been building on Two and a Half Men’s ratings this season. I’m actually surprised it hasn’t become Monday’s anchor show, but it’ll do OK on Thursday. I actually hope more people do DVR BBT, and give NBC’s shows a better chance.

  • MrMank

Yeah, Jay Mohr was a much needed breath of fresh air for that show.

  • ABC Bites!!!

This is the network that wouldn’t/couldn’t support Better Off Ted. ABC wouldn’t know good comedy if it bit them on the hiney.

“According to Jim”… ’nuff said. :(

I tried several times in its first season to watch “Lost”, but it was just an incoherent mess. I gave it a chance but it just couldn’t hook me. The only real competition for CBS’s Friday lineup for me was Sci-Fi network’s Stargate:Atlantis and when it got canceled I was left parked on CBS, mostly because of Numb3rs.
As for ABC nothing there has even gotten an “I’ll give it a shot” from me since Lost. I don’t do sitcoms at all. I hate shows that are about the sleazy lives of the overly rich or just about the inter-relationships of sleazy people a-la Desperate Housewives. And I don’t watch ANY reality shows at all. Nor do I watch vulgar cartoons.
Soooo, hour long scripted dramas are mostly my gig, and I prefer mystery, action/adventure, police/crime procedurals, and fantasy/sci-fi, plus medical if they are remotely accurate(which most are not). I guess I’m just to particular for my own good…Right now I’m left with NCIS;LA, Criminal Minds, occasionally The Mentalist, Supernatural, and occasionally Medium. Might finally get to give Fringe and Bones a try – I liked “Peter” on Fringe but David Boreanaz has always been a bit hard for me to stomach. Oh, well, I’ll prob spend most of my time on History Chan International or curled up with DVD’s. I’d probably be better off LOL….

In my mind, that’s what I pretend it was, just a dream. So I’m glad that they don’t mention it.

  • Ariesmama4

I think it would be interesting if they kept JK and also brought back Jay Mohr! I think that Jay would school JK and that would totally be hilarious and bring back a bit of laughter to the show that’s gone away from it. Since we’re now done with all of the Shadows vs. Shinies stuff, ABC can get the show back on track and make it bigger than it was on CBS!

  • Rachel

Of course this person is right.. its dead!!! !:’(
