JUST WONDERFUL! the CW not only promotes Smallville like crap, but the way they write for it really does show how much they really DON’T WATCH IT! God *facepalm*

Umm…the Smallville writeup sounds about right to me. This is the final season. The season finale “Salvation” (which by the way was received EXTREMELY well by almost everyone in the fandom and by critics) has set up the last year to be Clark embracing the destiny that we’ve always known was coming for him. There have been a few things that have always been set for Clark: He will become SUperman, he will fly, he will wear glasses and he will marry Lois Lane. None of these things have EVER been a secret and they are ready to play out on the show. The description sounds about right to me. Maybe YOU haven’t been watching the same show. haha

Thank you Ange…Season 10 looks to be all we have been waiting for and I can’t wait to watch every single minute! The writing and direction made a great turn for the better in Season 9, which now leads us to an iconic season 10 full of action and romance, Superman style.

Well said. I’ve been waiting for this for years, and I’m going to bawl like a baby when it’s all over.

  • Hannah

I’m gonna start watching SUPERNATURAL now instead. Looks and sounds AMAZING!!

    • Mariah

      You should! It’s awesome.

    • ani

Yes! Start with season 1. You will be hooked. Plus…Jared was a lot hotter back then. He’s a little too manly for me now…

So supernatural has come full circle. Dean living a normal life. Sam needing Dean’s help to locate John….oops that was season 1. I guess this will be the last season.

    • Meg

Man, I hope so. Now I’m starting to wish the show had not made it past season 2. Before they had a chance to ruin it.

      • Jenn

I stopped watching regularly during Seasons 1 and 2 because of all the focus on Sam. He was just so… boring. For me, it definitely picked up around Season 3. That said, I think the whole Lisa and Ben thing is stupid and unrealistic and about as soapy as the show’s gotten. I hope they fix that very quickly in the S6 premiere.

      • Jeff

Yeah that’s just stupid and makes no sense. Season 4 and Season 5 were possibly the best and definitely deepest of the show. Season 2 was great, agreed, but ending the show after it would have made absolutely no sense and deprived us of two of the best seasons any show has ever had on television. This just proves what I’ve been thinking about most of the Supernatural kvetching on here, it’s done by people who left the show long ago and are largely mad now that they’re hearing buzz on how great the whole storyline has been for the past two seasons. You should have been watching, it was awesome.

Uh, how did they ruin it? O.o Seriously, fans do love to throw around words like “ruin” and “fail” and whatnot. And still, the show made to S6, so obviously, enough people still care about it, go figure.

      • Meg

@timotey This whole strained relationship crap has been going on for two freaking seasons. And, imo, that is ruining it. I fell in love with how much Sam and Dean loved each other and their bond was unlike any other. Another year like S4 or 5 would be awful.

      • Mike

I’m a very avid fan of Supernatural, but it needed to end with Season 5. Kriepke planned a 5 year arc, I personally think the only reason The CW fought to keep it and not let them end it like they planned was because they don’t really have that many ratings winners.

No way were s4 and 5 the best. Season 4 trashed the heart of the show(brothers) and season 5 with the “funny” apocalypse and shoehorned in Castiel wasn’t any better. The last episode finally redeems the brothers relationship, now we hear they’re trashing it again. TERRIBLE.

I was hoping the taking shirts off comment would follow Supernatural as well.

    • Sadie

      Amen!

I’m so excited about the next season of Supernatural. That storyline sounds GREAT–I’ve been DYING to see the aftermath of the Apocalypse. Post-apocalyptic stories are the BEST. As long as the focus is still on the relationship between Sam and Dean, then I am IN ALL THE WAY, BABY.

    • Mariah

Word! Love the post-apocalyptic stuff. Hell, I was kinda hoping the boys would lose just so I could get me some Mad Max esque action. LOL
