I have thought the 7th and 8th seasons of 24 have been the best. I enjoyed 24. It was and probably always will be my favorite show. I was curios as to how you would end the show, and thought it was done just right. I would not have changed anything. But, boy was it hard to watch President Taylor and Jack Bauer do all of the things they did in the last few hours. Starting when Charles Logan came back into the picture I felt like a parent having to watch their children make awful mistakes, but Taylor and Bauer would never stop being my favorite characters. It was extremely satisfying to see it all end up relatively okay for them in the end. I was very disappointed to see how President Taylor’s character changed from season 7 to season 8, but I think the mistakes she made needed to be there because we all mess up and if President Taylor hadn’t made some mistakes her character probably would have gotten boring. Thank you so much for giving me 24. It has been a wonderful show and I am eager to see how the movie will turn out.

As a dedicated viewer of both LOST and 24, I think it is ridiculous to put LOST in the sdame league as 24. LOST was a fantasy. 24 dealth with the hardest issues America has faced in the past decade, and put its viewers through gut-wrenching drama, heartache and adrenaline rushes every single week. I am 43 and that MASH finale was a big deal for me at the time. But 24 was MUCh bigger than MASH or anything else. I firmly believe Jack Bauer is the single greatest character in television history and I think Kiefer Sutherland richly deserves another Emmy next year.

I never watched 24 until this year my husband finally made me sit down-I have been hooked ever since-went to the library and had 24 marathons until 5 am with each season – couldn’t stop playing it until I knew what happened- please tell me season 9 is coming on fall
Jack is such a patriotic hero-we need a million of him in this time now-it is like watching marvel superheroes–you should have done something more about china- alqueda- heard you were criticized on the torture thing- stand up to them!! we are being surrounded by enemies now because of just that- the terrorists today- cut off our heads of journalists for gods sake!! please don’t stop the series
our country needs this now more than ever!!! I am buying the whole series- can’t wait to get my hands on series 8 so I can rewatch.
kudos to all of you. 24 and smallville are my abosulute thing for forgetting about the world today for a little while at least.

Great article. I cant wait to hear more about your research tool. If it is as good as your other products, then you will have another winner. Your article pretty much summed up what I have been seeing too. Great to see some hard data.

I am fifteen and have recently started watching 24 and i LOVE IT. I’ve only watched it for three months and I’m already on season six!! I will be heart broken when i come to watch the last season. Jack will live forever in my heart and so will the entire cast from all of the seasons. One day i hope 24 will return on the air.
