Aaron Paul, Aaron Paul, Aaron Paul. How can you watch this season & NOT see him win? My heart breaks for Jesse Pinkman and the depth Aaron Paul gives gives him—a winner by any standards!!!

    ZACH GILFORD ALL THE WAY!:)

    ZACH GILFORD ALL THE WAY!:)

  • Lepidoptera

There are 2 types of people.
    1. Those who know that Aaron Paul should and win this award in a unanimous vote.
    2. Those who do not watch Breaking Bad.

  • CTB

John Noble and Lisa Edelstein for the EMMY biatches!!!!

  • Michelle

OMG! What about Walton Goggins as Boyd Crowder in Justified?? He was the best part of the show!

  • Mike D

Yea, he’s awesome. But he’s been nominated before, for much better episodes. This year was pretty basic for his standards. O’Quinn definitely stood out more this year. Go re-watch The Substitute and pay special attention to his range. Off-island Locke is in the wheel chair dealing with pressure from his wife to try and get out. And on the island he’s a bad-ass creepy monster of a man, coating it with honesty to persuade Sawyer. Incredible.

  • jen

Agreed. “Career-defining” or not for Nestor Carbonel, Emerson was still the better actor. His work in the Ben/Ilana scene alone, not to mention the great stuff at the beginning and in the “sideways” place with Alex.

  • agrandel

Gotta agree that Nestor was outstanding in Ab Aeterno, but I’m still a Michael Emerson fan and always will be. His final scene between Ben Linus and John Locke alone was extremely moving.
However, if anyone deserves it this year from LOST, it is Terry O’Quinn, hands down. Can any other actor play a character that is creepy, frightening, disturbing yet comforting at the same time?
Matthew Fox was ok during this season. His final few episodes (and especially his final scene) were amazing, but nobody held LOST together like O’Quinn and Emerson. One of them better be nominated (and win!) again this year.

  • sarah

I actually thought Josh Holloway was incredible this season. His heartbreak was palpable.

  • Liz

    What she said.

  • Liz

    Touche.

  • Elena

Agree. Lisa E. was stunning in 5 to 9 and all the critics agree.

  • Kpryde

you obviously didn’t read the post very well, Lithgow will be up for the Guest Star Nom.

  • and this is his DREAM ballot, not what he actually thinks will happen…jackass

  • HOUSEwife

    LOOOOOOOOVE DEXTAAAAARRRRRRR!!!!!

  • Merideth

Dexter was the best show on TV this year, and I agree Jennifer Carpenter absolutely deserves a nom along with the absolutely mesmerizing Michael c. Hall and John Lithgow.

  • DUDE

Nothing associated with that show should get awarded for anything.

  • Sabrina

Definitely Sandra Oh & Chandra Wilson their performances on the season finale were brilliant

  • Mrs. Doubtfire shimself

Sandra Oh was brilliant on the finale.

  • Tineek

I agree! Sandra Oh, Chandra Wilson, Justin Chambers.. all should be nominated! They have done amazing work especially on the finale! They should NOT be ignored!

  • amy

sandra and chandra for sure! they are always amazing, this entire season, but after the finale? you can NOT ignore that!!

  • kay

Do you even watch the show? Olivia Wilde is the one who delivers the same type of performance every week…and it’s subpar. She is very boring as 13 and does not show much depth. Lisa Edelstein as Cuddy is able to show a wide range of emotions throughout the same episode (look at “5 to 9,” “Help Me,” and “Known Unknowns” from this year or “Joy,” “Joy to the World,” “Under My Skin,” and “Both Sides Now” from last year if you need proof). Lisa has more than earned Ausiello’s nod and hopefully and Emmy nod come July.

  • Elle

“Lisa Edelstein is getting praised because everyone love Huddy.” …Or she’s getting praised from people who’ve followed her career long before House. And Olivia Wilde? Seriously?

  • Vanessa

Actually I´m a Cuddy/Lisa lover but not a huddy. I can ship Cuddy with everyone (but Foreman lol) but I don´t need to see her in a relationship to know that Lisa Edelstein is a terrific actress. 5 to 9 wasn´t about shipping at all. Help me was. And she was fantastic in both episodes. Sometimes the writing for her character is not great but even getting poor scripts she does a fantastic job.
I think Lisa has the most beautiful facial expressions. She is the only actress in the House who can be included in a list like this.

  • Sophie

LOL, seriously? Do we watch the same show?

    Lisa Edelstein >>>>>>>> Olivia Wilde

  • anamiii

seriously?? do you even watch the shhow?? lisa is beyond deserving of ausiellos emmy nod and hopefully an actual emmy nod come july… she was amazing this season and last

  • Ann

Lol, it looks like crazy huddies are here

  • J

I think you forgot how to read.

  • Marie

    i have to agree.
if he doesn’t win this year i’ll be shocked.
Breaking Bad is underappreciated and fantastic.

  • rock golf

No argument on Aaron Paul, but how about Anna Gunn’s incredible work as Skyler, Walter White’s conflicted wife on Breaking Bad?

  • Woot

Agreed. but would he be supporting actor or guest actor? I guess he was in like 6 episodes, but he was credited as “special guest star.”

  • mrmuricy

Gregory Itzin is better than all of them.

  • Sean

Haha Ausiello. I wonder if Lisa Edelstein would have made your cut if she hadn’t called you out in public for not including her in last years. she’s incredible and deserving, more so last year than this year in my opinion. I was bummed when she got passed over. Hopefully this is her year.

  • DUSTIN

Agreed. Also, Michael Emerson and Josh Holloway.

  • kay

@Dude: I completely agree with you. That show is bad soap opera with people who over-act. The actors consistently miss their mark. I was an avid watcher the first few seasons, but all of the drama was too outrageous to believe. I never understood how Katherine Heigl could be recognized by the Emmys for her work on that show. She and Ellen Pompeo are definitely the worst. I will say that Sandra Oh and Chandra Wilson are the stand outs, but with such a big cast I think there isn’t as much time as there should be to showcase their talents.

  • LA

Grey’s fans, get real, no one from that crappy show is going to be acknowledged. Not saying they aren’t good actors, Oh and Wilson are terrific, but the show is so cliche and ridiculous, the academy can’t take it seriously. No one will be recognized.

  • Sara

Ahahahah I thought the same. Ahahahahah

  • Erin

    He is quite the suck

  • Tessa

screw you if you can’t appreciate how talented an actress Lisa Edelstein is. her performances in 9 to 5 and the season finale were breathtaking.

  • Vanessa

I disagree, Lisa is totally Emmy worthy and Ausiello is not the firt one who think about it.

  • Dee

I believe only Evangeline Lilly and Matthew Fox are considered ‘leads’

  • Jen L

I agree. Terry O’Quinn was the lead actor in Lost this year – he had more screen time than the other actors. Michael Emerson should win again, he was fantastic.

  • Dee

Everyoen but Evangeline and Matt Fox are considered supporting.

  • TheObserver

Agree. a. Paul is great…better here than on Big Love but I was hoping to see Giancarlo Esposito (Gus Frings) here…people like him are far more scary than characters like the man in black on lost or Tuco…men like him are scary because they are capable of anything and you never know where in plain sight they are hiding

  • mary q contrary

No way would O’Quinn get a supporting nod, if he gets any. He was in so much of this season, playing such an integral part, that he definitely is more a Lead than Supporting. And, I know a lot of people won’t agree with me (for reasons I can’t quite understand), but I thought Matthew Fox acted everyone under the table this season. I’ve never seen him so stripped and brilliant. If he doesn’t get a nomination, I might actually cry.

  • Mrs. Doubtfire shimself

Totally agree about Matthew Fox. He deserves the Emmy this year. I’m going to oust both Nestor and Michael Emerson from this discussion and offer up Josh Holloway.

  • XSE Drake

Emerson was brilliant as usual, but this was not a heavily Ben-ified year. He had about as much to do as Miles or Lapidus. I agree that Nestor should get a nod. I whole-heartedly see your Holloway suggestion, and I’d like to raise you a Jorge Garcia.

  • jodipo

Mary, I agree wit you about Mathew Fox. I think nods should go to him and Terry O’Quinn. Their scenes together were amazing. Their heartbreaking sideways scenes, and their tension filled Island scenes.

  • Laura

Emerson’s scene with Ilana in “Dr. Linus” more than qualifies him. Terry O’ Quinn and Matt Fox should get lead nominations, with Emerson and Carbonell as Supporting. Although, I’d vote for Vincent the dog over all of them :P

  • Meli

Nestor was absolutely amazing – such a range in his character this season, especially at the start of the season. Emerson is amazing but didn’t have as much this season – although the scenes he did have (i.e. with Alana, and in the finale) were incredible. Holloway was terrific as well, in his alt-world and on island. Hard to pick!

  • Jenny

Matthew Fox is a terrible actor. There, I said it. He has like 3 looks, and none of them are very convincing. Of the Lost men, Terry O’Quinn deserves it the most by far.

  • J

Neither Emerson nor O’Quinn gave us anything new this year, which is saying a lot considering O’Quinn was playing a whole new role. However, Titus Welliver’s MIB moved me a lot more than O’Quinn’s.

  • murley

i 100% agree with mary about matthew fox. he was OUTSTANDING this year and is so underrated. i would like to see terry o’quinn nominated for supporting only so that fox can be nominated as the lead and both can take home the emmys they richly deserve. i’d put fox against any of those leading men any day. i think emmerson deserves the nod too but locke and jack have to win.

  • Julie

Also agree about Matthew Fox. I’ve never been more impressed with his acting than I was this season. He totally deserves the Emmy for lead actor.

  • Heathnae

Matthew fox was not my favorite character BUT he was phenomenal in the finale…I will never forget his death…

  • jj

JENNY. You should have your own show or something. I googled “matthew fox is a terrible actor” and only 6 hits came up. Maybe we should start our own club or something. He’s a perfect example of how looks gets you everywhere in hollywood, how adolescent our culture still is. (In short, I heartily agree).

  • beth

Agreed! So glad you included him on this list- he deserves to be there, if not just for The Son, but for the entire series. His performances are so subtle and understated…just greatness.

  • Gillian

Are you kidding me? He is not good enough to be nominated. Jennifer Morrison should be in that list. Why is Lisa E and not JMo?

  • yvan

    It’s not? That’s lame.

  • Amiee

Jason, Connie Britton would be nominated in the leading actress catagory, not the supporting (which is what this article is about)

  • Amy

    Also, Glee is not drama.

  • Fisher

Yes!!! It would never happen in a million years but those two were AMAZING! Who knew Zena would come so far (and act so well!)

  • ChaCha

Come on Ausiello! Don’t tell me you didn’t watch Sparticus. Of course they don’t have a chance in heck but this is a DREAM ballot and you KNOW they deserve to be on there.

  • JakJak

John Hanna was amazing but seriously, I don’t think they could find a PG clip from that show to show at the ceremony. :-)

  • Amy

Im actually ok with that considering I want all 3 to win, lol

  • Sarah El

Ian Somerhalder might qualify as lead. Also, as fantastic as he is in The Vampire Diaries, the Emmys will NEVER nominate a CW show for anything. Ever. Which wouldn’t normally be a shame if The Vampire Diaries wasn’t so surprisingly good.

  • kay

Jennifer Morrison over-acts her scenes and comes off as fake. Also, she wasn’t even in half of the episodes this season, nor did she have an episode that could have have showcased her talent (if she has any). And for the record, yes I’m a Lisa Edelstein fan and a Huddy fan, but that is not why I’m being critical of JMo/Cameron. Just look up any of the articles written about the Broadway play “Miracle Worker” in which she had a role this year. They refer to her as being stale and say she should not have been cast for that role. She doesn’t seem to have reached the point in her career where she can convey depth and emotion well.

  • Lydia

Are you a n**job? Robert Sean Leonard is fantastic as Wilson. Lisa Edelstein is terrific as Cuddy. Jennifer Morrison acting skill (or lack of) make my cry. If she is so great, why did they fire her? Please, stop this nonsense.

  • H

    you’re kidding right?

  • LovingHouse

Jennifer Morrison is just another pretty face but her acting skills are not at any award winning level, much less at an Emmy level. She just isn’t talented. Seems critics agree.

  • anamiii

are you seriously asking this question??? lisa edelstein even if she only has one line delivers with such power,
i love jenn but shes just a pretty face her acting isn’t emmy worthy

  • Shiloh

RSL is a fine actor. However, this season I really don’t feel he had anything really Emmy-worthy. LE is a good actress, who has the potential to be a great actress if she tried to step up her game a bit more. She should watch and get tips from Laurie. Not because she is bad, as I said, she’s quite good, but he’s is an extremely talented actor. In the episode he directed her in, he really brought up her game. She also did very good in ’5 To 9′ and ‘Help Me.’ I hope she gets a nod this year. And I hope both she and RSL get a nod for next year. They’re both the key actors under Hugh for that show.

  • Aurelia

Wake me up when Jennifer Morrison delivers a line in a non mediocre way. And then maybe we can write her name and Emmys in the same sentence. Pathetic.

  • C

I love Jennifer Morrison and Cameron but I have to agree that she doesn’t qualify for an Emmy – by a LONG way. The only problem is, I think a lot of people who love Cuddy/Lisa Edelstein aren’t seeing past that fact as well. I also Love Cuddy/Lisa Edelstein, but I don’t think she deserves to be nominated. The material she was given was very poorly written, but whatever acting she did was melodramatic and fake-looking. This is just my opinion though – but I have to say, there’s a reason neither of them have ever been nominated.

  • Jason

You are absolutely right, Amiee… my bad.

  • Amiee

I completely agree with you that she deserves a nomination though.

  • K

I agree! Small chance but I think Audra McDonald needs a nom for her work this year. Amy Brenneman too. Overall, agree with the list though. Christine Hendricks deserves that nom like no one’s business.

  • mylen

i think 5 to 9 was very well written and super directing. I got a old good the west wing feeling. But i learned LE unfortunatly isn`t Allison Janney. Everything what Lisa did looked forced and unnaturelly gazed in the camera, Not worth for an emmy. I think her performance in Joy was much better. This season she looked to stoned and unflexible.

  • Meggy

YES! I love her on Parenthood! She deserves a nom! In fact I also think Peter Krause deserves a nom for leading actor and the show deserves a nom for best new series!

  • Reena

And Chloe she ended the show “SHUT IT DOWN” Mary Lynn delivered so good the last half of the season torn between her friend and her job

  • Rick

They’ve done such an amazing work, espically Itzin! But I think FOX will put him on the guest actor list, there he will have better chances. Very good chances ’cause many didn’t go along with the dicison after season 5, where he should have got one!
Cherry Jones should be on the supporting list!! But maybe Ausiello is to scared because she won last year!!

And MICHAEL!! Don’t do something wrong, when you put your best actor list together! Do not forget Kiefer!!!

  • Ajay C.

Anil Kapoor and Cherry Jones MUST be on the ballot, regardless of Ausiello’s list.

**Anil Kapoor appeared in only 12 of the 24 episodes, but those 12 episodes were beyond terrific.

  • Bake

I liked ab aterno too but it was just one episode, I thought the rest of his work during the season wasn’t too special. As far as O’Quinn would he really count as a supporting actor? I’d say Locke was as much of a lead as Jack this season. Lost should just get one for ensemble acting cause picking one for supporting or lead is just too tough.

  • Casey

Yeah but it only takes one episode for him to win…and boy did he do the work to deserve it in Ab Aeterno. It was the first time I said aloud after watching an episode of television where I said : “Give that man an Emmy!”

  • LL

Maybe it was just me, but I felt that Nestor acted better in Spanish. I could feel his desperation.

  • erin

I think it’s just the fact that the scenes in which he spoke Spanish were more desperate situations. In English, he was in a completely different place in his life, and it required the more restrained performance that he gave.

  • Kirsten

Bake, you only need to be good in one episode. When they submit someone for a category, they provide one episode and they’re judged on that. Basically, if Nestor won, he’d technically win for Ab Aterno or Terry O’Quinn for The Substitute (assuming those would be the episodes ABC submitted). I think they could technically submit more than one episode per character, though.

  • gah

terry should sumbit the season premier. the look on his face while getting off the plane was heartbreaking and it just took that look.

  • Britt

better episodes? maybe. but Emerson’s speech at the end of Dr. Linus alone deserves the nomination.

  • Vince from NYC

    Definatley Noble! He’s brilliant.

  • kramer

Shouldn’t John Noble be in the leading actor category? I mean he’s almost the main character of fringe. everything revolves around his Walter and Walternate.

  • Diva

You took the words right out of my brain

  • Q

He would be in the “Lead Actor” category.

  • donkottz

I just want to know wtf richard alpert is gonna do in the 21st century?

  • Liz

A Donkottz, I was shouting “Get Richard off the ISLAND!” Haha! I think there should be a show about his arrival into 21st century america.

  • Flyer

Richard’s already acquainted with the 21st century, considering he’s been off island numerous times. I think his last trip was when he recruited Juliet in 2001.

  • mtraptor

@donkottz: he and Miles are going to be sassy flight attendants on Lapidus Air

  • ChitoJoseph

Supporting Actor race will be a head-on collision between John Noble (Fringe) and Terry O’Quinn (Lost). Hands down!

  • Mo

Chito, I would definitely add Aaron Paul to those two. The three of them had me mesmerized this year. Well, I guess not so much Terry O’Quinn, but that’s because he has been so good as Locke through six seasons, I kind of take him for granted. I have only been watching Fringe for one season and Breaking Bad for two, so those are fresher for me.

  • Sean

why does jennifer carpenter consistently get passed over for her work in Dexter? i’m watching bits i missed from season one and i’m just floored by her. and that scene this past season with trinity’s daughter was perfect.

  • Casey

I agree Holloway was great last year and he was good this year too. However, Nestor was phenomenal in his episode.

  • Zabe

Did you watch the laste 4 minutes of the SF? No, you didn´t.

  • Zabe

Did you watch the last 4 minutes of the SF? No, you didn´t.

  • Kate

Are you serious? Lisa´s performance in 5 to 9 was simply stunning, perfect, sweet and delightful. You must be too biased to write a hateful post like that.
Well, thanks God your opinion doesn´t count and all the critics and reviewers though she was terrific.

  • llevinso

Also Glee would not be in the Drama category.

  • murley

calm down dear. it is just a different opinion.

  • hurley

And Kate, not ever critic/reviewer thought she was terrific. And not ever critic/reviewer has influence in teh Emmy noms. Just a thought.

  • murley

calm down dear. it is just a different opinion.

  • hurley

And Kate, not ever critic/reviewer thought she was terrific. And not ever critic/reviewer has influence in teh Emmy noms. Just a thought.

  • murley

oh this is a great idea! he is amazing and certainly emmy worthy. i doubt dollhouse made enough of an impression to get him a nod but her certainly deserves it!

  • ceva

Lisa Edelstein FTW! Overlooked for too long. Best thing next to Hugh Laurie on HOUSE, the world’s most watched TV show still (81 million viewers). Seriously, Aussie, why isn’t she up for leading actress instead of Best supporting actress? She is the female lead on that show even if it is an ensemble.

  • E

I don’t really get the Lisa Edelstein obsession. I mean, she’s ok, but not up for an Emmy nom. There are much better actresses out there.

  • Ann

Lol, only stupid huddies can talk like that

  • Elena

And only huddy haters can say that Lisa don´t deserve a nomination. You can dislike huddy all you want but you must be totally bitter and biased if you don´t accept how brilliant this actress is.

  • Ann

Lol, only stupid huddies can talk like that

  • Elena

And only huddy haters can say that Lisa don´t deserve a nomination. You can dislike huddy all you want but you must be totally bitter and biased if you don´t accept how brilliant this actress is.

  • sureal

and predictable, everytime House is in the scene her hips start to swing like a gogo and she start flirting. Every other scenes with other characters are just bad and unorganic.

  • TIA

Her acting is boring? Seriously? Then probably i´m not watching the same show bc this woman can really act and bring a lot to the table with sometimes just poorly written scenes.

  • LDSK

On a whole Criminal Minds is not an Emmy worthy show. However Paget had given some great performances. I’ll be honest here and say I don’t think she should win (there are just too many great actresses out there) but it would be nice to see her nominated. Oh, and for those of you who think she can’t act, check out an indy film called “The Big Bad Swim.” She’s great in it.

  • JJFan

Paget has the acting chops for it but she’ll never get to show it on CM.

  • Liz

Emmys hate procedurals so that would never happen. Still, I would be happy if she at least got a nomination.

  • HurleyDude

I would think a Gregory Itzin nomination would be a lock but he might be considered a guest star? Cherry Jones was pretty great too. FYI – Criminal Minds is my guilty pleasure. I honestly don’t think the writing is that good but I’m addicted to it and Paget Brewster is one of the reasons why. She’ll never get a nom but I hope she knows she’s appreciated.

  • janealle

puuh…really…i think this show is only focus on her sexiness and some boring cliches. Because of her an unconventionell show (seas 1-3)become conventionell about issues you see on other shows in a much better way.

  • TIA

Serena, this x 1000. She turned a one dimensional character in season 1 into something beautiful. On the other hand, this season hasn´t been good at all for her character but Lisa still did the best that an actress can do. And i think she has possibilities with 5 to 9 or the finale

  • Elena

This, the most important critics and reviewers think she is really talented so screw haters.

  • Chels725

Totally agree. I think he’s more of a guest actor. He totally earned a nomination just for last night’s episode.

  • Elena

And delusional bitter hamerons are trying to get a little attention. Go and cry in your hole. Lisa totally deserves to be in that list. I can´t say the same about other actresses.

  • Will

Her?….haha but yes, she has been consistently amazing!!!!

  • Matt

HA! Yeah, they would be hard pressed to find something they could put on a family friendly show. Still, Hanna kicked A**!!

  • @Sophie

I know that for stupid shippers it’s hard to understand but we aren’t all like you, a lot of us could care less about who’s gonna sleep with who. To make it clear for you: I’m not a shipper, the whole thing is so stupid!

  • Deb

And the winner is…Sophie! Huddies are fast, lol

  • Deb

Forgot to mention: winner in the ‘who’s going to be the first rabid huddy playing the bitter shippers card?’ category

  • Thia

Why would you assume that most of the comments supporting LisaE. are from Huddies? I hate ship wars on these threads. I also hate when shippers come on here and pretend that they aren’t shippers to hate on actresses because of a ship. As if that makes them seem more legit in their inane comments if they don’t ship anyone? Trust me, it doesn’t.

  • Scott

Dude, I thought I was the only person who saw that movie. She was really good in it. Sadly, she will never get a nom while on Criminal Minds. The writing just isn’t that good.

  • Q

I saw The Big Bad Swim as well and thought she was excellent. I agree that Criminal Minds isn’t the show that will get her nominated. I think she’s better as a comedic actress anyway. I just think that she’s horribly underrated and hope that she’ll get a role on a show one of these days that will get her some recognition.

  • Agreed

I believe comedy is her thing as well. Loved her in “Andy Richter Controls the Universe.” I can’t believe they canceled that show. Let’s hope when the show eventually ends that she finds her way onto something that will allow her to show case her talent.

  • anamiii

wth?? even with limited screen time she was amazing!! and 5to9 is enough to qualify her for lead let alone supporting

  • erin

Face it Wilson is a wuss and nothing but comedy relief and Jesse Spencer is just a pretty face acting marginal

  • LILY

“Wilson” was not emmy material. robert sean is a good actor, but that episode made his character, who is normally always a good addition to an episode incredibly boring. he only really seemed interesting when he was interacting with House.

  • Gaga

I agree with Lily. RSL is pretty talented but his episode didn´t do anything for me. The scenes with House were touching and brilliant but that´s because Hugh Laurie is one of the most talented actors in the world.
Erin, it´s true that Wilson this year was nothing but comedy relief but RSL has talent for much more. Again, he is not Hugh Laurie but he is pretty good.

  • Rufus

No offense but you managed to pick the only two actors on that show who CAN’T act, IMO. Although Hurley was very good in the finale, Claire was pretty awful throughout this season…

  • Sara

Terry O’Quinn, if there’s any justice in the world, needs to get an Emmy, but I’d assume for lead actor. Nestor Carbonell was wonderful in Ab Aeterno, but might I suggest Henry Ian Cusick? His work as Desmond was wonderful. Heck, this entire cast is amazing. Just give them the SAG for best ensemble right now.

  • Heathnae

    Agreed Sarah!!!

  • LovingHouse

Well Liz at 1:20 pm, the critics don’t seem to agree with you. Lisa Edelstein is brilliant in every scene and deserves an Emmy nomination.

  • Stephanie

Lisa Edelstein deserves to win. She did great this season!

  • m

yeah, and 5 to 9 was such a horrible ep.

  • samara

Agreed. LE and RSL are both excellent supporting actors. Both really shine in their roles and are overdue some Emmy love.

  • Erin

Agree. Lisa’s good but so many actresses out-acted her plenty, Emmy worthy she is not.

  • VickyFan

She is totally Emmy worthy. The woman is an incredible actress. She shines with sometimes just a few seconds of screen time.

  • m

    smart.
    agree.

  • LaFluer

Actually, I think it’s pretty obvious that Mike doesn’t watch Sparticus. If he did he definately would have put Hanna on the list.

  • Dav

Popular doesn’t necessarily equal good. I would think the number of horrible yet inexplicably popular reality shows would have proven that. I’m not saying that NCIS isn’t good exactly, I’m just saying that a show can be entertaining or popular without having Emmy worthy performances.

  • Dav

You do realize this is a dream ballot. It’s not the REAL list of nominations.

  • Daxx2513

That would be my questions too. The man deserves some Emmy love. We laughed, we cried, we were terrified!

  • starr

As always, Chandra and Sandra were AMAZING. I’d challenge anyone to try and find to female actresses who could have done Grey’s this season (especially the finale) as well as these two.
Also, with the work Justin Chambers has truned in this season, he definitely deserves to be nominated after all that time…he’s the unsung hero of the show.
Eric Dane has been great as Mark and definitely had some shining moments too.

    I’m with you, MAS!

I also want Kyle Chandler and Connie Britton in lead categories … As with Gilford, their performances in Season 4 were sooo beyond Emmy worthy.

  • LovingHouse

Sorry Tinker but your info is very dated. Many countries are watching season 6 now. Get your facts straight.

  • @LovingHouse

Yes and infact the ratings in those countries aren’t good at all. Here in Italy barely 2 mils and the network suspended the last episodes.

  • LovingHouse

Tinker, your hate screams from every word you write. And really, again, get your facts. There was no pole dance last season. On the other hand, I’m glad you have found a place to release some of your hostility. It’s not good for a person to hold in so much hate.

  • Sam

I agree and I alse see that only huddies are coming here to praise LE.

  • VickyFan

Good luck to Lisa, Hugh and Robert Sean!

  • Bonnie

Thank you! Just because Grey’s in general has gone downhill a bit, doesn’t mean that Chandra Wilson’s acting is! She was brilliant in the finale. I agree on Justin Chambers as well. And Matthew Fox deserves a nom, here or in the lead. Finally–where would Jane Lynch fit in?? Comedy or drama?

  • Joe

YES! Aaron Paul deserves the Emmy this year and I’d love to see Anna Gunn get a nomination. Why is she always overlooked?

  • Mo

Man, everyone on Breaking Bad is so good. Yes on Aaron Paul, yes on Anna Gunn, yes on Dean Norris, yes on Giancarlo Esposito, and let’s not forget RJ Mitte as Walt Jr. I am already heartbroken for the day he finds out what his father really does! And Bob Odenkirk is so perfectly sleazy and funny as Saul. I love how they can all shine as actors because the writing is so good.

  • @VickyFan

Well, showing her ass and cleavage is the only way to be noted, no surprise here. Plus men love women’assets, no big deal. Do you remember SW? No need to show her body

  • Christopher

Gregory Itzin is very good, but no where near better than John Noble has been.

Gregory Itzin is very good, but no where near better than John Noble has been.

  • Steve-O

They came close with Demonology. You got a glimpse of her talent there. Her speech to Rossi was great. Sadly, she hasn’t had much opportunity since.

  • sascha

sandra oh and chandra wilson were amazing this season. I don’t like Cristina that much but I thought she was awesome this season. THEY MUST BE NOMINATED.

  • snowflakesister

maybe we don’t watch the same show because i see her several faces not just these 3. LE is one of the best actress’ on TV. it’s that simple. :)

  • Merideth

Totally agree. Jennifer Carpenter was phenomenal on Dexter’s brilliant 4th season. She is way overdue. Great actress and wonderful character.

  • JFowler11

Totally agree with Lithgow – if you are in every episode for a season, you qualify for supporting consideration – end of discussion…

  • Tom

Cuddy’s espressions: her ass and her boobs! Mind you, I’m not complaining about that ;)

  • samantha

I don’t know about Fox not promoting, I mean Hugh Laurie is always nominated. I just don’t understand how Lisa or Robert have never been nominated

  • Nell

Sara Ramirez has been AMAZING this season!

  • jess

Yeah, I would say the Jack/MIB conflict was the central theme this season, so Terry O’Quinn and Matthew Fox should BOTH be nominated for lead actors this season.

  • C

Agreed. Anyone who thinks season 7 House looks like it has HUGE potential for her character/the show really can’t see past their love for Cuddy and see the show is sinking FAST.

  • Liz E

I completely agree. He should be a lead.

  • saurabh

did anyone forget the pain in his eyes in S5 finale, or in S6 premiere, or in S3 when he kills anthony cooper??
Josh holloway is truly an awesome man…i hate tht they never take him seriously…
he proved to be a better leader than jack in S5….who can forget his performance in LaFleur??
