The NCIS contract renegotiation saga inched closer to resolution this evening with the news that Pauley Perrette (Abby) has inked a new multi-year deal to remain with the show.
Of the five NCIS cast members in limbo, Perrette, Rocky Carroll, and David McCallum have also reached new deals to return. Still at the negotiating table: Michael Weatherly and Sean Murray. A well-placed source, however, assures me that both are close re-signing.
Mark Harmon and Cote de Pablo already had deals in place for next season.
Relieved Abby is staying put for season 8 and beyond?

no! Lauren Holly was amazing. the amount of eye-sex, secret pasts, almost moments her and Gibbs had made the show in season 4 and 5.
yeah i loved lauren holly….i like rocky but lauren and gibs dynamics were amzing…also miss kate alot altho i do love me some cote!!!
The funny thing is that they got rid of the only characters I didn’t like. I never liked Kate or Jenny… If any of the characters on there now didn’t return, I’d definitely be upset.. My only request is to finally make Jimmy a regular! He’s too good for recurring!
Also did I miss an episode or something cause the whole Tony- Ziva thing kind of fizzled out again? I hope they pick up on it in season 8

Good! I would have stopped watching if they got rid of her. The Gibbs/Abby relationship is the best part of that show.

Actually, I would say ALL of Gibbs’ relationships w/ the main characters feel authentic and touching, with the exception of the weirdly overdramatized relationship w/ the director Vance.
I completely agree. Either go somewhere with the story or move on. Two years is too long with no plot development on that.

Ok, not just me, good! But has anyone seen One Crazy Summer, an old John Cusack/Demi Moore movie. One of the characters in that looks and sounds JUST like Sean Murray! If the movie wasn’t 20+ years old, I’d swear it was him!
