The finale attracted 1.76 million adults among the ages of 18-49 and a series history high of 2.64 million total viewers – up 16% and 30% respectively, versus the season two finale.
Overall, the third season of Real Housewives averaged 1.38 million adults 18-49 and 2.02 million total viewers, the highest rated season so far for the New York City franchise. Bravo will reunite the ladies for a two-part reunion special on June 10. The Real Housewives of New York City are Countess LuAnn de Lesseps, Bethenny Frankel, Kelly Killoren Bensimon, Alex McCord, Ramona Singer and Jill Zarin. The third season also featured the recurring women Sonja Morgan and Jennifer Gilbert.

I wonder what the highest rated season was from the entire Housewives franchise? I can’t imagine any of them being higher than NYC.
Well, I give HWOATL a 0 rating, THONJ a -0 rating, THWOC a 2 and the HWNYC a 9—-only because it hurt so many people.
atlanta is higher rated i beleive, but this is my favorite group because the neurosis is extremely high and everyone is on like a 10 when it comes to crazy!! and they seem like they are the richest of all the housewives;)
You are wrong actually. The Atlanta housewives, while crazy, are overall the poorest in the entire franchise. Google it. Most of their wealth is a sham. I don’t know about the NYC girls, but NYC will eat you alive if you’re fronting too hard…notice how low key Alex and Simon have become in comparison to their antics in the first season?
I don’t know about the ratings, but the previous post was stating that the ladies of NYC appear to be the wealthiest.
I think Benjamin was calling NYC girls the richest and ATL the highest-rated. Are any of them currently more broke than Lynn from OC though?

Sorry Keith, ATL HW toppled the highest ratings on BRAVO. Their ratings were higher than Queer Eye for the Straight Guy which was the highest at one point. If you look at the article carefully, NY Housewives broke their own record compared to previous seasons.

I disagree, highly. I hated NYC because everyone was so high strung. Atlanta was way too in your face. The only sleazy one on NJ is Danielle. NJ is exciting.
Wow, I so have to disagree with you. The OC housewives are by far the most boring group. Its funny that whenever people begin comparing the different groups, they always leave out OC… That’s because they have faded out.
I feel the same! They do give you a slimy feel after watching the NJ Wives. Their whole lives seem to revolve around bullying and presenting as “tough”. Don’t like ‘em.

I stopped watching N.Y. from this years first episode. Housewives are just too nasty. I enjoy little people big world. Nice is making a comeback.
I agree. After RHATL 2nd season, the franchise went downhill. I watched on episode of RHNYC, and that was it for me. TOO much neurosis.
WOW-with LU LU’S CD LAUNCH no wonder it was a huge show ! I cant wait for the reunion show ! A scene I would love to see on the show is Danny from the R-H.O.N.J shows up to get the drop on blow fish face Bethenny – JASON the dweeb {think Slade Smiley at the Beauty expo } dressed in head to toe black – wearing a head set working security jumps in but soon backs down because he is a whimp . Danny makes Bethenny open the trunk of the skinny ghoul monkey wagon and they find Jill ZARINS silverware and priceless gems that grifter Bethenny took when using them all of last year.The cops come stuff and cuff Bethenny and the world gets another mugg shot thats better than the today show freeze frame or Nick Nolte’s mugg shot!! That would be a great show – Busting mARIO that has to have something going on – lil something something ???THAT HAS to go down sooner or later .

I like NYC but i felt the finale was somewhat boring. I hate new jersey housewives, haven’t u guys noticed that everything revolves around danielle. If she wasn’t there what would those other housewives talk about?!?
They wouldn’t talk about anything without Danielle. RHNJ is a normal, average, and boring set of family and friends who would get along swimmingly without the freak that is Danielle.
