VIDEO: 'True Blood' stars share backstage secrets, tease season 3

The wait is over! No, I’m not referring to True Blood‘s season 3 premiere. You still have another week to go for that. I’m talking about the video from last Tuesday’s super-fun True Blood Ultimate Fan Experience Q&A — featuring the show’s principal cast and hosted by yours truly(!) — which is now available for your viewing pleasure after the jump. Feel free to tell me what a bloody fantastic job I did in the comments section!

OMG Aus! I want to full screen it but the video player won’t let me!

Me too. This link hasn’t been working for a week. What gives?!?

It was a great Q&A. Your questions were perfect. I really enjoyed the night. Thank you

  • kate

    can’t wait :)

Fantastic!! You’re a naturally good interviewer, Michael, and the cast seems really comfortable with you. Loved the questions, loved the answers, and can’t wait for June 13th to get here! How cute was that applause at the end–”we’re clapping for the fans, not for ourselves!”

  • Dan Leuw

Best I’ve seen you do. Love the show and if I ever have a new baby girl it would be Sookie!!!

I am in love with Deborah Ann Woll. She’s great as Jessica and would have been bettee than Evan Rachel Wood as the queen.

    • Liz

I don’t agree. I love Deborah as Jessica, and I think Evan does a great job as the spoiled and cunning young Queen. She may go out with Manson, but she is a bloody good actress.

oh but let’s keep her as Jessica. They should have an Emmy for single greatest scene and Woll should have won for her transformation scene in season 1. I still watch it on youtube every now and again for a good laugh. And now I know how to pronounce your last name! Awesome!

OMG I’m so jealous of you right now!!! You got to see my favorite cast on television!! I love Alexander Skarsgard the best though. He has to the hottest Swedish man on television. I also loved how you handled the questioning and kept it interesting. There wasn’t a dull moment the whole 44 minutes but there never is on the set of True Blood. The whole cast looked great and you did too :) . Man I am even more excited to see the third season and I didn’t even think it was possible. I am definitely going to be tuning onto HBO this next sunday! All the guys looked just as hot as they do on the show! You are one lucky, lucky man Michael Ausiello!!

  • Eric

This video doesn’t work. you suck

    • Q&R

Hey you can go to the HBO site and the video works there. Here is the link: http://www.hbo.com/video/video.html/?autoplay=true&vid=1099775&filter=true-blood&view=null

    • barr

I’m not even GETTING the video. I have a nice blank spot where it should be.

      • April

If you’re having problems with the video, (I did too), check it out on HBO.com.

      • Randi

It’s also on you tube on the HBO channel. I couldn;t see it here either and that was on 3 different computers in separate locations.

Great q&a. True Blood is a great example of a show with excellent storytelling, acting, and directing. I can not wait for June 13th!
