Image Credit: Cliff Lipson/CBSABC’s science-fiction show V and the network’s cult-fave Castle will have a presence at the annual Comic-Con International in San Diego, which runs from July 22 to July 25. The network’s high-concept drama No Ordinary Family — a Michael Chiklis starrer about a family with extraordinary powers — will also bow at the convention.
CBS’ Big Bang Theory — a favorite among the fanboys who make the annual sojourn to San Diego each year — is expected to return, as well as other Warner Bros. TV-produced shows like Fringe (Fox), Chuck (NBC), Human Target (Fox), as well as The Vampire Diaries, Supernatural and Smallville (all on the CW). The studio will also unveil several new shows at the convention, including the CW’s fall show Nikita, a redux of the popular franchise about a female operative that stars Maggie Q, and Childrens Hospital, a new series for Cartoon Network’s Adult Swim starring Rob Corddry.
20th Century Fox TV will schedule panel discussions for its animated shows on the Fox network, including Family Guy, the Simpsons, The Cleveland Show, American Dad, and Futurama. The network’s freshman hit Glee will have a presence at the convention, as will Bones (Fox), and the FX shows It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, and Sons of Anarchy. The studio plans to introduce Terra Nova, Steven Spielberg’s big-budget prehistoric drama for Fox, as well as the new animated shows Bob’s Burgers (Fox), Neighbors From Hell (TBS), and Archer (FX).
NBC-Universal Studios will use Comic-Con to debut The Event and The Cape, two high-concept dramas that will bow on NBC next season. The Cape is about a framed former cop who dons a superhero uniform to clear his name, while The Event is a thriller about a regular Joe caught up in a large conspiracy.

Sad to know Lost isn’t on the list…still recovering.
I know. It feels like something is missing.
Ditto for Battlestar Galactica.
Ditto for “Flashforward” and “Heroes.” And, oh, heck, while we’re at it, ditto for “Birds of Prey.”
I can’t find anything sad about Flashforward or Heroes not being on the air anymore. Especially Heroes.
What, did you never want it to end?
Heroes? C’mon, that show’s been s**t since the first episode of season 2. Will not be missed one bit.
I think Heroes will be there giving out “we sorry” Swag.
Yep, I agree. I kept watching it in the vain hope that they would redeem it. Never happened.
I feel the exact same way

Seamus Dever posted that the entire cast of Castle was invited to Comic Con, rumor has it that Nathan Fillion might show up AS Richard Castle!
Anything with Nathan at Comic Con will be gold!
*cries* My biggest dream is to go to Comic-Con in San Diego – and this would be the year – probably the last to see a Supernatural panel (though without Kripke – I’m not that bummed…)- and I’d adore Big Bang… Any news on who the shows are sending yet???
That’s nice but if you’re going to mention Adult Swim, what about the Doc Hammer and Jackson Publick? The Venture Bros. is one of my favourite shows.
If San Diego wasn’t so dang far away, I would make a pilgrimage for Castle and Sheldon.
Supernatural, Big Bang, Glee, Castle… Doctor Who probably will be a part of it too… all my favs will be there!
Crap! I wish I could go this year… I do have plans for next year then, though… hope they all come back! =)
Live blogs online!
Psych will be there, according to their twitter
Nickelodeon?…baby, where are you?
What about Dexter?
Psych, Burn Notice, and White Collar.
Glee, Bones, Sons of Anarchy… remember when Comic-Con featured shows that had at least some vague tangential connection to comics?
no kidding Haha, last year when ABC’s “in the middle” had a panel there at comic con I was like WTF?!?they even gave a lame description to try and throw people off “a mom
as to be almost super heroic these days…” to make you think maybe it’s about a super powered mom, when in fact it was not sci fi of any kind
Comics or sci-fi shows. They need to rename Comic-Con something else at this point. It feels more like upfronts than anything else.
I noticed last year that they had changed the tagline on all of the banners around San Diego to read, “Celebrating the Popular Arts.” It’s definitely no longer all about comics & sci fi.
I went to the Glee panel last year. It was in an enormous room and was PACKED with a very enthusiastic crowd…and at that point only the pilot had aired. It obviously has no trouble finding a devoted Comic Con audience!
I have virtually no interest in watching V, but I still want it to be successful due to my love for Elizabeth Mitchell.
legend of seeker will be there
uuuhmmmm..They got canceled buddy
But, uh, will there be comic books?
