Michael Emerson should be cast against type as the presiding D.A. He would be smarmy, dry, riveting, and weirdly sexy.
And I approve the idea of Idris Alba as one of the detectives. Or he could just read the L.A. telephone directory, that would be hot too.
Jennifer Morrison (late of “House”) is looking for a new gig so she could be the beautiful assistant D.A.
Love the Carlos Bernard and Kristin Kreuk suggestions.
Det. Rex Winters: James Denton!
Make Lt. Park a woman and cast Reiko Aylesworth. Do a 24 reunion.
You know what, I NEVER watch L&O (any of the spinoffs, whatever) but your casting would def. draw me in. I’ll have to keep posted on this new TV show since it certainly sounds exciting.
Love the lineup suggestions! it’s about time Scott Foley was back in a series.
don`t forget the token Canadian actor/actress in the cast …
no way Terrence Howard ( why leave movies?) …
He could do the pilot and then be replaced by Don Cheadle….
@Brett – Funny!
The cast should be as follows:
DDA Eva Price should be: Julianne Hough
ADA Peter Morales: Lou Diamond Phillips
Lt. Park: Jackie Chan
DET. TJ Tomas: Esai Morales
DET. Winters: Bring back Jeremy Sisto
Any opinions ???
Not Sisto. Watching him act is less exciting than watching paint dry.
Ken Leung should totally be cast as LT. Park!!
They should have just kept the Original!
Speaking of Ken Leung, I am finally catching up on 20 years worth of L&O and I recently caught him as some scientific examiner in a rerun from 1995!
They should go against type and cast Michael Urie as TJ and make him GAY..this is Los Angeles after all!

I’d rather see someone like Robert Patrick or Michael Biehn in the role of Winters, I’ve never been a big fan of Terrence Howard.
Please god no, not Kristin Kreuk. I cannot stand her!!!
Never been a L&O fan… but if this turned out to be the cast, I’d watch in a heartbeat. I’d watch anything with Ken Leung.
