Love all the attention for Zach, but also hope that Kyle Chandler’s and Connie Britton’s AWESOME acting is FINALLY recognized by the Emmy crowd. And it would be even better if the series itself got a nom, too!! Clear eyes, full hearts can’t lose!!

Zach DESERVES that emmy. He was brilliant! I mean he always is, but that episode put him on a whole other level of brilliance =)
Fantastic news. If the show has to end (sob!), it’s only fitting that Matt/ Zach will be a part of the ending. He’s the heart of the series.

He so deserves an Emmy. I can’t pretend that I’m never moved when I watch TV but his performance in ep 5 was beyond realistic, just thinking about it nearly makes me cry.
Him back for 4 episodes in season 5 is the greatest news and I hope that the storyline he gets will honour his character (dear Matt) and his talent as an actor.

Yes, they are. I LOVE that show. It is the only show that comes on TV that if I’m home I dont even wait for my DVR. I just watch and record it.
Agreed. He deserves an Emmy for that episode. I also agree with the initial poster that he needs to watch his word choice. From interviews he seems very sweet, but his comments sound critical of the writers. That’s not a way to endear yourself in Hollywood.

To be honest, I don’t watch this show – never have, never will (didn’t interest me, and I don’t have the time. However, I ended up watching the episode where he mourned his father’s death – and I was devastated by it. Zach Gilford is an incredible actor, and he showed it in that episode, making me care for a character that I had never once seen before. Geez, I even cried.
What do we have to do to keep this show on the air. It is my favorite show. And I have my daughter addicted now. I have the first three seasons on DVD and she wouldn’t stop watching it until she saw all of them. They can not cancel this show!!!!!!!!!!!! Every Actor on this show is awesome.
I’m a mom who has a son Zach’s age…I just adore him as an actor and the character he portrays is one of the best on TV ever…Friday NL’s is one of the best shows ever..The casting and writing is superb..The acting is dead on..I will so miss this show and wish it was to get even more accolades than it has gotten.. Taylors portrayal of Riggins is so underrated also…My hubbie and I just bought seasons 1-3..and they are even better the second time around…..wish there was a best drama ensemble emmy.. they would win hands down………Love my FNL’s
