Put Gerry Dee on the office from The Score because he will fit in with the show.

“The Office” has a great supporting cast that is under-utilized. Instead of adding another cast member and keep storylines and camera time focused on the same few characters (Michael, Dwight, Jim, Pam), give the current cast members more of a chance to shine. The quality has gone down because the writers focus on the same characters and it’s starting to get stale.

Gabe would be an excellent addition to “The Office”… but my whole idea right now for the seventh season is to get rid of Sabre. Get David and the others to buy it back from the profits from “Suck It” or maybe get Creed to buy it as well. Reason I say Creed is because his character is so shifty and likes to steal a lot, he might have enough money somewhere that he could possible take control of the company (just an idea). Also bring Holly back, but since Michael is leaving there can be funny drama in this as well. Like Sabre is doing horrible in sales because of the lack of printers being sold because of them catching on fire, once David or Creed finds out, they make an agreement to buy back dunder mifflin. Gabe quits Sabre and works for Dunder Mifflin being the receptionist because remember what Michael told Aaron in the car about her dreams maybe coming true cause she always wanted to be an accountant. Then they find out that they need an extra member for the big guys in New York like David once was, but for another branch of Dunder Mifflin. Which Michael greatfully accepts but asks if theres anyway that Holly can join him. Since he’s one of the best bosses in all, he’s granted that request and Holly is Michael’s helper.
I wish the new boss would be Stephen Colbert or anyone with Steve Corrals funniness, which he’s the only one who has what he has.

Beautiful!! Everytime I read this, I wish we had met Lindsay. Thank you for the consistent rirendems to cherish our time together on earth. An even greater thank you for the rirendems to make our earthly years honor God!
Completely agree. Toby’s my favorite character. He’s cute-awkward, Gabe’s just…awkward-awkward.
I agree with you COMPLETELY! I always wanted them to go on a date or something. Now he never will
What’s wrong Ben? Forgot to take your “Stop being an assh–e pills”?
I see you’re not in the entertainment loop so let me fill you in: Michael’s storylines have pretty much ran their ground which is why Steve Carell is leaving after this coming season.
If this show is to continue without Carell, then I can see Gabe as the new branch manager as his neurotic awkwardness is pure comedy gold.
This last season was pretty dull because we see the same ole scenarios. Flesh out storylines with the other characters, the way Cheers did. Sam Malone was still the main character but we got to see storylines involving Rebecca, Woody, Carla, Cliff, Norm, Frasier and even Lilith. That show ran for 11 seasons. It wouldn’t have if the storylines were solely on Sam Malone like The Office is doing with Michael Scott.
So Ben you can feel free not to make dumb comments anymore. BTW – you’re fired!
Jackie- I agree that this last season, morespecifically, the last two seasons, have been dull. And I I like Gabe, I think he’s just okay, but I think if Steve left the show Gabe should not be the replacement. That would almost be as bad as having Jimmy Fallon replace Conan..oh wait
My guess is Meredith hits on Gabe, and he either dates Angela & is terrified of Dwight, or dates Erin & gets into a stand off with Andy.
I also agree with the chants of “Holly! Holly! Holly!” Perhaps she and Toby will work together, because lets face it, he’s going nowhere
I don’t think he will have to be afraid of Dwight…he seems to have lost all interest in Angela.
Its too bad this show has turned into who should be dating who. That being said, the clear choice for Gabe would be the warehouse woman.
Bring back Stringer as the boss…
Uh, his character name is Gabe, you just said it.
luke = Batman
Does it really bother you that much Ian? I’m sure you’re a real peach.
I don’t think there’s any way the show could go on without Michael. It would reek of desperation if NBC and the showrunners go that route. I love the rest of the characters (albiet far less than I did in the first few seasons), but Michael is clearly the main character. I don’t care for Gabe for Gabe that much, but he doesn’t detract from the show like Jo does. I don’t know why anybody would want her every week.
You, as sad as it may seem, I’ve been at a company that went out of business and was take over by another and they nailed it — it was much much more realistic than some might imagine.
*You know, as sad…
yo..not cool….the office is gonna live on WAY past season 7..hopefully
scrubs sucks. and btw gabe is an annoying stick who ruins everything in the office. he’s like toby but not funny one bit.
