Eddie Cibrian was cool on the show. I liked him. I don’t think that needed to make a choice between the two of them they could have kept both. They should get some new writer’s though. The predictibility & suckiness of this show is starting to get insulting.

Cutting him doesn’t have anything to do with LR – and everything to do with Adam Rodriguez’s return. So much for him saying no one would be fired because he graveled and begged them to take him back. I can’t stomach one more season of watching Emily Procter and Adam Rodriguez try to fake chemistry that doesn’t exist and act like teenagers on a hormone surge. They look like neither one has ever been in a serious relationship. It’s an awkward, feeble attempt at sex. Boring and laughable. CSI Miami is off my watch list next season. Sure hope Rodriguez sleep well knowing people were fired because of him and his selfishness. Jerk!

Sure Bud….But the only reasons why the rating on this show went down was because of the new characters (jesse)—-and now that he is gone and adam is back …..this rating are going to be super high!!!!!

I agree. Cibrian is so much better looking and so much hotter than Rodriguez there is no comparison. Rodriguez is one of my least favorite actors on the show (if you can call what he does acting). It’s really sad that a good actor lost his job because everyone BUT CBS figured out Rodriguez is worthless and didn’t want him. So he had to come begging CBS to take him back.

Consider the ending to the season finale, that is still a possibility that is very plausible.

i only brought it up TWICE because it’s a running theme for everyone else to bring up cibrian and rimes. why don’t you go get on their cases?

Thanks Sarah and Jenny. Adam is being rewarded for HIS bad behavior – akin to a little kid threatening to hold their breath until they get what they want – only this time it worked.
Perhaps moving the show to Sunday and firing of Eddie is part of a grand plan to ensure a ratings drop so CBS can cancel the show.
I know I’m not going to be watching in the new season.

I was pleasantly surprised at how good “CSI: Miami” was last season and actually watched it “live” each week. The ONLY episodes I didn’t care for and found myself multi-tasking during were the Delko episodes.
Like a few other here, I won’t be back as a viewer in September.
One question though – shouldn’t C/D not be allowed to be a couple and work together? I know Stetler is gone but IA does have rules against this.

For ur information CSI Miami was ranked #1 for most watched tv show…. apparently people love the show ..maybe is jut you !…. the only reason why the rating went down was because Adam left and Eddie came…..

If they had kept Eddie and gotten rid of David the freaking show would have been cancel…..! think :l

Actually check any reliable poll (and not the polls that Procters drones stay up all night stuffing) and Horatio is waaay ahead of Calleigh as the more popular character. Love him or not, a lot of people watch because of him. And Procter is NOT and “Amazing actress.” She one of the worst I’ve seen. She SUCKS! La Rue has her beat in looks and talent and if they were smart they would kick Procter’s sorry ass to the curb and let La Rue be lead.

Like i said on my other post …who are you to judge on who can act and who can’t…..you’re not an actor or an actress and i definitely don’t see you on a tv show …so you can shut up now ans stop saying who can act and who cant!!!!!!!

Only Procter fans think that without her the show won’t make it. Both she and her character and ridiculous and dragging the show down. This stupid freaking romance was her demand. She’s a selfish diva who doesn’t care that her demands are killing the show and stealing time from the much better actors on the show. Calleigh needs to DIE if the show has a chance at surviving. And she can take Eric with her! They both SUCK!

I guess if you watch TV purely based on looks & not talent, you’ll like Eddie Cibrian. But he brings nothing else to the table. Jesse was just plain dull. I wanna see Horatio, Eric and Ryan working together more next season, and some more “action” scenes on the show. Jesse was just filler, and Eddie should stick to Hallmark movies and soap operas … that’s as far as his mediocre acting skills will take him.

I think it’s a huge exaggeration to say that Jesse’s role “makes the show.” Whether you like Jesse/Eddie or not, he’s only been on CSI Miami for one season; hardly long enough to “make a show.” It’s the veteran cast-members like Horatio, Calleigh, Eric, Ryan, etc., who’ve made the show the success that it is. Giving Jesse any credit for that is just unfair.

Did anyone truly notice or care for such a low-profile actor?

I’m not sure that’s entirely the case. I’ve watched since day one and I find the Eric and Calleigh romance annoying. I loved them as friends/brother/sister, but it’s creepy to see them trying to do a love scene. Even they look uncomfortable.

CAReader I agree with you. Ppl did get turned off of Meg Ryan and I feel it’s the same with Eddie, cause I did like him in Third Watch, now I don’t like him. As for Adam, even if he begged back, why shouldn’t he? And he was there first, so what? I’m glad that CBS took him back. He’s good on the show. I don’t like his relationship with Procter though, as some also stated. It does seem fake and lacking chemistry. I wish they’d stop already. He looks like a little boy when he looks at her. Awkward!

“they brought the show down”??? FYI Adam and Emily were there since the beginning, that means they helped make the show successful. So please, if you don’t like them, stop watching. I love them, and I love that CSI Miami is focussing more on the original cast, that’s gonna bring back enough viewers who stopped watching last year (when it wasn’t the real CSI Miami anymore).

And btw, what did they ever do to you people that you have to beat them up like that? I don’t like Cardoza and I can’t stand Ryan, but you still won’t see me insult Eddie Ciprian or Jonathan Togo anywhere. Grow up!

Adult people in the real world act as teenagers. An example of that is Eddie Cibrian who let his teenage hormones get the bet of him. And Adam is much better actor than Eddie C.

Yeah im also couldn’t warm up to this character…Ryan was hard for me to warm up but did…and the only reason for that is because the writers don’t give him enough screen time..

I also loved Corin Nemic as Michael Shanks replacement. It was Ben Browder That could not take Richard Dean Anderson’s place. When RDA left that is when I stopped watching.
