Wow. She’s smarter than the GA writers.

As much as I like Sarah Drew, the show doesn’t need April, who is a lesser version of Lexie, who was a version of Izzie. Although I’d rather have April than Teddy, who has sucked the life out of much of this season.

    • AuntieD

Yeah, Teddy has been a drag.

I don’t know if she can be redeemed. She really is not fun to watch

I like the fact that April is an annoying chick. In everyday life, in almost every work place, there is often at least one person that you just don’t care for, and folks talk behind her back. I’ll never forget Avery talking to Mer (as if he were April): ‘Spank me if I’m wrong, Chief Shepherd, oh I hope I’m wrong!’ Hee! – that was so real!

I find her a little annoying at times but I don’t think I dislike the fact that April is staying. I think we just need to give her some time, to get to know the character better in order to really like her. And even if we don’t like her eventually, isn’t it usually the case in real life? People don’t get to like everyone. If we liked all of the characters it wouldn’t be realistic.

the writing needs to be redeemed and fixed. also there are too many cast members. we never see arizona explored outside of callie, or meredith and lexie onscreen bonding since the transplant storyline. what about mark’s family, derek’s,etc. april is just not needed.

The actress is okay, but I’m not liking the character at all. To be part of the tribe requires a brain which, so far, her character doesn’t seem to have.

  • Kervin

Thanks Stef. Yeah, I do remember that episode. The girl wasn’t so sure she was doing the right thing but before she could do anything about it – wham, demon’s in her. Haha. Thanks again.

  • Fresh

She also played Sal’s(the secretly gay guy) wife on “Mad Men”–thought she was really good in that role.

  • renee

she’s gotta go. she’d have to donate her heart to get me past ‘it’s her fault derek got shot and subsequently that caused mer’s miscarriage.’ pathetic is the word that comes to mind whenever i see her.

  • jen

I totally agree. The first few seasons were so much better because the focus was on the original five interns, with just a couple of attendings and the chief for support. The show was more about the interns development as young doctors, and their connections with patients. Now more than a dozen doctors all have about the same role, which means way too many small story lines, and its all about love triangles and relationship angst, instead of personal development.

  • Ana

I, too, never saw her as a threat more than annoying. I don’t care for her or her farm and her corn. She can take Teddy and disappear for what I care.

  • Nicole

    How dare you! lol, crazy

  • edufracked

    Too crazy/clingy.

What does some dating service have to do with a character on Grey’s Anatomy? Look where you are,and stay on topic,or go to the appropriate place for such comments as yours.

  • Steph

I didn’t like her at all this season, but the finale definitely made her more endearing.

  • edufracked

The writers wrote her to be annoying. How are we supposed to not be annoyed by her? Also, she is totally the reason Derek got shot. Sorry, you aren’t gonna be redeemed. She should have stayed fired!

  • Captain Sweatpants

Is she hittable? Can’t really tell from the picture …

  • Mai

The “Annoying Meredith” crap is getting old, people, play another note or get a better orchestra because what is annoying is having to read the same garbage over and over again.

  • tvfan

I agree. She seems to have a good range, hopefully the writers want to round out the character.

  • lorna

The finale made me hate her more. I blame her for Derek getting shot!

  • edufracked

He just feels sorry for her because she got fired before she got to prove herself. She (and Reed) messed up, right? They shouldn’t have been let back in. Richard wouldn’t have done it.
