Good to know all the haters claiming that the Huddy scenes would be too lovely dovey fantasy land are wrong thanks to DS. Yes,of course there is kissing but I’m sure also discussions between House&Cuddy on how they are going to make things work between them.

    • Anna

It’s never going to work. Huddies are truly living in fantasy land if they think it will last. It will end no later than then sweeps if not way before, and the vast majority of viewers will cheer.

      • Kim

Please, and you know all of this because? I’m sorry your bitterness and hate of this storyline does not make you the speaker for the masses. But please by all means go ahead and spread your insanity.

      • Kitty

@Kim. And your fanaticism of this storyline doesn’t make you a spokesperson for the masses either. Maybe a spokesperson for the other fanatics who like whats happening to House, but never for the rational people who see the writing on the wall, and the writing ain’t good.

      • Maybe I should’ve saved those leftover dreams, funny but here’s that rainy day…

Most of the Huddies I’ve seen around don’t think it’ll last. No couple lasts on this show. It would be interesting if they actually made it, wouldn’t it? No one would see that coming. Partly because no one expects it. When even Chameron breaks up, you know this show has issues with people and relationships working. I am still a big fan, but it’s unrealistic that no one on this show ever works out.
Recently I got into a conversation with some friends and then later in the week with some co-workers about the show and why some of them don’t watch anymore and found what they said interesting. Some people said they liked a team with a family dynamic that shows like NCIS (which is the top show on TV right now) and Criminal Minds has and that in this show the closest to a family you get is H/C/W, and only sometimes with them. Everyone thought it was sucky that the season was going to end with House back on drugs and being even worse off than he was before. It was predictable and trite. I mean, we’ve seen him alone and miserable, popping pills on his couch in countless episodes. I’m so glad they surprised the hell out of everyone and did something different. If they hadn’t I don’t know how much more of the hopeless, miserable House I could’ve taken. In fact, most of the friends and a co-workers who don’t watch the show anymore told me they stopped because they thought it got too predictable and too depressing. I think they had a better balance of that in the first four years than in the last two.

      • dorian

        finally someone who makes sense.

    • Anna

Sorry, but you Huddies are the ones who spread the insanity in this fandam. Like everyone does’t see all your ridiculous tweets to TBTB and all of the other craziness you all spread around the internet.

But it will be so much fun when huddy crashes and burns, and the rest of us can laugh at all the whining, just last this past season.

      • Anna

That’s fandom and “like last season”.

      • Kim

Lol umm.. ok then “non insane” person…you wait eagerly for Huddy to crash and burn. Yep, wait in your little corner of the world and hold your breath and surround yourself with bitterness. Nothing wrong with your sanity at all. Meanwhile, I will enjoy watching House and House and Cuddy just like I always have ever since the show started. Have fun. *hands you crossword to pass the time* :)

      • Amy

Yes Anna, keep waiting and waiting meanwhile I too will be watching and loving every second of Huddy, whether it’s happiness, angst or something in between. Have fun in your bitterness and anger and strange obsession with Huddy that seems all consuming :)

      • Kitty

@Kim. And your fanaticism of this storyline doesn’t make you a spokesperson for the masses either. Maybe a spokesperson for the other fanatics who like whats happening on House, but never for the rational people who see the writing on the wall, and the writing ain’t good…

      • Kitty

@Amy, your fanaticism / obsession of House/Cuddy seems all consuming

      • sarai

Yes, there are definitely some crazy Huddies too. That is undeniable. Their craziness isn’t any better than the others on here. Crazy is crazy, what does it matter what ship or non-ship they’re from? That said, they’re happy right now and they’re not the ones who come on here after having stopped watching the show ‘years ago’ and hate on everyone and everything around them. Many of these anti-Huddy people are pointlessly vicious to others that they don’t even know because they’re angry because the Huddies are getting Huddy. [You know, sort of how you’re all happy thinking of relishing the sadness of anyone who carries the name Huddy.] If someone doesn’t like Huddy it’s not a big deal, obvs. Not everyone is going to. But of course the ones who’ve been with the ship for a long time and waiting for it are ecstatic. Why wouldn’t they be? And so to come on here and see their happiness and tell them you can’t wait till the ship crashes and you can hover over their carcasses like a lustful vulture is, well, it comes from a creepy and unstable place.

      • Pravada

Anna, you have all kinds of nerve blaming Huddies for craziness in the fandom when Hamerons burned pictures of TPTB and spam them multiple times a day. If you don’t like Huddy that’s fine but don’t attack others. Makes your points very weak.
I happen to think House and Cuddy are great and I have confidence TPTB and the writers will do it well.

      • @Kitty and Anna

If you don’t like Huddy why are you wasting your time commenting on it? Go find something you do like, and support that. Meanwhile, we can hope for Huddy to work out. Yes, there is a good chance it might not, but still. It would be nice to watch while it DOES last. And I don’t need people like you to tell me I’m stupid for liking them together. I think they have great chemistry, and frankly, I think you’re stupid for watching a show and a couple that you think are worthless. Clearly you have no happiness in your life and all youy do is sit around and watch shows you hate and comment on posts you hate. You are not necessarily a hater; it seems to me that you are against people having their own opinion. So if we want Huddy to work out, that is fine. Stop bashing us for dreaming, and go on with your lives.

      • Crystal

House/Cuddy probably won’t last and then yes, you can laugh. But who cares? You’re doing enough whining right now for the load of us.

      • Amy

        Are you a House/Wilson or House/Cameron fan?

    • KiKi

@kim, you’re living in lala land if you think the writers are capable of writing that type of conversation between House & Cuddy.

      • DomusMaior

        And you know that because…??
Sorry, I must have forgotten: Who the hell you said you are?
Judging other people’s competence in their own jobs must be your kind of thing, uh?
And that says a lot about you too…

      • Diane

@Kitty..the writings on the wall? Sorry, again you lose because unless you are indeed DS…. you, along with the rest of us have no idea what is in store for House&Cuddy. Ppl who enjoy the pairing of House&Cuddy are rejoicing b/c they are getting their chance as a couple. Sorry if you fail to comprehend that concept.

      • Brynda

can you house fans please stop it with your stupid “ship wars”! you’re starting to resemble crazy supernatural fans with the sam girl/dean girl silliness

      • Peter Popper

I’d rather live in lala land than kiki land.

  • Kim

That was the weekest column ever…, are you out tanning on the beach and calling it in?

    • mary q contrary

So what if he is? It’s summertime. Give the guy a break. Most of the good stuff is on hiatus anyway. Give it about 3 or 4 weeks, and then the shows premiering in the fall will be sliding the juicy stuff his way.

Nice, real nice, spoiling FNL for all of us watching it now. I avoid FNL spoilers like the plague and it just ticks me off you didn’t give warning that you were talking spoilers for NEXT YEAR! Your international readers don’t get Direct TV so heads up Einstein, don’t give this years endings away without advanced warning!

    • Alia

It’s a spoiler site, so I’m not totally outraged or anything, but yeah, the whole Riggins/prison thing was kind of a big shocker. Might want to give that one a bit of a header, Mike.

    • murley

i think the word “spoilers” in the title of the article or the fact that this is ausiello’s weekly spoiler column would both count as warnings that there would be spoilers. it is hardly ausiello’s fault you failed reading comprehension, now is it?

I love me some Bobby but I was really hoping that the episode Jensen directed would be about Sam, to see how Jensen’s “viewed” Sam/Jared.

I really hope that this attractive woman isn’t some youngish thing…too bad Ellen wasn’t still around.

    • Il

Well, as director, Jensen doesn’t really get to decide what script he gets. And any really Sam heavy one needs Dean too to even it out, and I guess it’s kinda hard to direct yourself all that much. I mean, when HL directed “Lockdown,” he practically vanished for the whole of the episode.

Tim and Tyra reconnecting? What about Lyla?

And why hasn’t there been any news about Jesse Plemmons being asked to come back?

    I’m not happy.

    • Alia

I heard they were trying to work something out with Jesse. Schedule permitting, I’m sure he’ll be back.

Thanks for the HOUSE news, Mike. Seems like Shore is trying to talk the crazy people down from the ledge. It won’t work of course because it’s not about merely being worried about what Huddy is going to be like; it’s about trying to bash and hate and use these tools to get Shore to do what they want-which is the end of Huddy.

The episode isn’t only about Huddy, but it does have Huddy in it. I’ve heard Chase is heading up the team and there’s a case. Yes, there’s a TON of flailing going on because of the Huddy and it’s getting the most buzz because a lot of people are excited about it. But it’s ONLY June right now. We’ll learn more as it gets closer to the premier. Everyone who really knows the show knows that Huddy isn’t going to be saccharine. This show doesn’t do that. There’ll be rough times for sure, but also some good times too hopefully besides in this one episode.

    • buborek

      THIS!!
I’m sure this season will be fantastic! Shore is back!
Bashers and haters don’t like this show!

Does that mean Uncle John should not have been on the confirmed fatalities list on the May sweeps scorecard? I never understood why he was on there in the first place and not the mayor! It wasn’t clear that Johnathan was dead.

I still watch My Boys! I’m not the same Kim who wrote those questions to you though. :)
