Am I the only one that liked Michaela McManus (ADA Kim Greylek)? She was the best of them by far! I really cannot stand Stephanie March, I’m glad she’s gone for good!
YES!!! It’s about time they get a permanent DA on this show! Sharon Stone was alright, although Christine Lahti really nailed it for me! And I STILL miss Stephanie March! So yes, let’s see what Paula Patton can do with this!!!!
Yes, she’s great. Yes she was awesome in Precious.. But still..I really, REALLY want Alex Cabot back! I hope TPTB split the next season between her and Stephanie March. Seriously, I can’t just accept a new ADA -however good she is- and pretend that they didn’t left things hanging in the air for Cabot. We (Alex’s fans) have been waiting for YEARS for her to come back! And guess what? We got her back again just to watch her gets thrown away, AGAIN, for the third time in the series. Alex’s exit was amazing..brilliant, but still..the character needs some more development. Anyway, thanks Michael Ausiello for the scoops. I hope there will be another SVU scoop soon, preferably about a certain Alex Cabot. One can only hope! *fingers crossed*

What happened to Cabot? Am I missing something? last I heard, she took “a leave of absence” to join an international task force prosecuting sex crimes in areas of conflict such as the Congo! Eh. I think I’m done with the clusterf**k of a show. It’s more than likely their last season. They could have at least tried to go out in a good way. Shame!
I am excited and will give Paula a chance! She was awesome in Precious.
Stephanie March left each time because she wanted to do movies. She had that super-small role in Mr. & Mrs. Smith as one of Angelina’s girls. I saw her in the Broadway play “Talk Radio” and she was awesome. I wasn’t a huge fan of any other DAs…..I’d love for Angie Harmon to do it. I know she’s moved on but she’s the best!
I don’t really care how much anyone is on or off screen, unless it’s Mariska. If Benson isn’t in the episode, I don’t watch it. I love Munch, Fin, Warner, and Stabler, but I watch it for Benson.
I say keep Sharon Stone, she was great for those 4 episodes and she had great chemistry with stabler. Plus, she has loads of experience, and is a much better actress than Paula Patton.
I’m up for a new PERMANENT ADA. Sharon Stone was horrible as Jo Marlowe and Sonya Paxton was decent, but still lacked. Paula Patton will be a great addition to SVU. Even though I’m a Stephanie March fan, I’ll be tuning in to see how Paula’s character is going to work.
Plus, among all the revolving ADAs the only one I found to be any good was the one portrayed by Melinda McGraw named Copeland from the episode, “Crush”.

Although I think Paula Patton is so beautiful and she would be good on SVU, they definitely need to bring back Alex. I think her and Casey were the only 2 ADA’s that actually put some character into their character…if that made any sense

Stephanie March doesn’t want to come back. It was her decision to leave, just like it was the first time she left. It is time to move on.
Diane Neal was AWFUL. She’s the reason I stopped watching. She was like a female version of Pinocchio – all wooden and creaky!

I like AJ-she was good on CM. Didn’t see “Precious” so not familiar w/Paula Patton. Whoever they decide on-I hope they keep them. I’m tired of their changing all the time. PS-I will always like Alex.
If anything I would hope AJ get’s picked up in the new L&O: LA. I wouldn’t want her moved to SVU. This show has turned into the biggest joke.

Kim Greylek was just horribly, horribly miscast. She didn’t look old enough to have graduated from law school. The actress wasn’t ready for the role.
The one that was wooden and creepy was the one (Michaela something) who only lasted a few episodes, resulting in bringing in Christine Lahti who was disastrous as a drunk ADA. This is why Stephanie March cam back to help out. Married to Bobby Flay, she really wants to work the FOOD & COOKING networks anyway.
Either way, SVU needs to do someting quick. They brought in that guy 2 seasons ago, Detective Lake, he was horrible, lasted only one season. He was the one paired with Det. Tutuola, that pairing didn’t work, even though Ice-T does a good job when the episode focuses on him, (like the ep that starred Martha Plimpton, Mary S. & Estelle P, excellent episode and he was great in it!
Stabler and Benson are the glue that holds the show together, ME Warner is good as well as Dr. Huang. Either way, L&O begins in LA come September, so maybe we have something new to look forward to as both L&Os will be back to back on Wednesdays.

She just had a baby so the TV schedule will be perfect for her. I doubt she would consider the role and moving her fam to NY for it if she wasn’t in it for the long haul.
i couldn’t agree more. i wish they would give munch and fin more to do. benson and stabler are not the only detectives on that show. it is not all about them.

But the NYPD *isn’t* balanced. Part of what made the original L&O so great in its early days was its realism. Now most cast members seem to be graduates of the Barbizon School of Law.
I agree, mariska is pretty much the only other woman role.
Diane Neal/Casey Novak was my favorite ADA. I want her back. But I’m interested in seeing what they’ll do with Paula Patton. I didn’t get to see her in either Just Wright or Precious, but she got good reviews in the latter. They need to keep an ADA, and a good one, too. Not Sonya or Jo.
I don’t think she’s going to return to SVU. And if she does, it’ll probably just be a quick ‘hi-bye’ thing. I think she wanted to do some more acting elsewhere, so she’s pretty busy.
