Come on! Dang it, the fans have always loved only two ADAs – Cabot and Casey. Simple as that. If we can’t have Cabot, bring back Casey! Forget the stupid guest stars. Give us who we want.

I think that’s a great choice. She was the only good think about “Just Wright”! Sharon Stone was horribly miscast, and I think Paula would do a great job in this role. I would love a little more color on SVU (television in general) too!

While it is sad that Stephanie March will not return as Alex, as long as the new DA meshes well with the SVU team (unlike Michaela McManus)and stays on permanently (unlike the revolving door of ADAs we had last season), I am perfectly fine with this decision.
I will always want Alex back, but I did really love Paula in Precious so I am definitely willing to give her a try.

love Paula Patton. But have never seen her really play a tough, hard-nosed role. We saw brief glimpse of that in Precious. So yes, I am intrigued to see how she will do in this role. But Sharon Stone was damned good and honestly, made me forget about the previous ADAs. I’d also consider seeing Judith Light coming back, stepping down from her judge position (as she did before) to serve as an ADA.
