Eugh. Last season almost lost me with increasingly crappy episodes. Now I definitely won’t be watching anymore. Bye CM! Hello to watching Modern Family live next year!

  • GDM

no Mike, this isn’t enough. i’m done with CM’s forever & i’m not watching that crap spin off either

    • Scooptress

      Say it isn’t so!
How will they find another non-grumpy open-minded mature adult like you so that their demographics stay consistent?

  • Evie

it doesn’t bother me shes leaving just that i had not idea that her story line was ending..for somereason didn’t see it comming but ive missed a lot of eppes b/c of work

    • Scooptress

A rational level-headed response in an EW thread?

I hope JJ doesn’t die as her finale… I hope she just quits, I mean, she does have a boy to take care of, right? Why should he lose his mother?

    • Scooptress

      Your hysterics are completely unnecessary.

      • Well-

Your comments…all of them…are completely unnecessary.

I’m glad that A.J. will be wrapping up her storyline but still very disappointed in CBS’s decisions. I would stop watching altogether if it wasn’t for Matthew Gray Gubler. Agreed on the previous comment about turning the new girl into a love interest-NO thank you. We do not need that to happen. A.J. will be missed and Paget deserves to be in ALL episodes.

agree..i watched criminal minds is because of matthew gray gubler. if he leaves, i will not be watching it anymore. hope that doesn’t happen

If they are that desperate to save money at the expense of the show, then get rid of Hotch. He’s been a giant downer all last season.

    • rena

      Or Rossi. He’s absolutely useless.

      • Scooptress

ralfmuel and rena are on the right track.

well, hopefully they won’t kill off her character. JJ has a baby for God’s sake! Maybe she takes a higher posistion elsewhere and just resigns. Or maybe we will see her on some episodes of Criminal Minds 2? It is good to hear they are keeping Prentiss more now.

    • Scooptress

Another one of these hysterical fools assuming the worst for absolutely no reason.

      • sweet666

Well we have to assume something don’t we? Who knows how they are going to write off her character, killing her off is an option.

      • sweet666

and did I not just back up the worst assumption with two ther possibilities for her departure? Get off this site. You are clearly not a fan.

  • sweet666

and if CM is a bust this upcoming season, maybe L&O SVU actually has a chance with the ratings.

    • Scooptress

Sorry, any credibility you had was flushed down the toilet in your previous comment. THIS comment may or may not have validity, but it does not matter as your words now ring hollow to all EW readers.

      • sweet666

oh, I am sorry for posting a comment on here like the hundreds of other FANS of the show.

  • Larry

No, I am not pleased with this. This year is Criminal Minds sixth season -they are only doing this to cut costs before they have to renegociate contracts for the heavy hitters next year. By getting another actress, that tells me they plan on paying her less then keeping A.J. and Paget on the show.

    • Scooptress

Larry runs his life thinking he’s “got everything ALL figured out”.

      • Etheline

Scooptress, what a bore you are! Please aim your high powered discourse elsewhere. Do you even watch this show?

      • rena

Agreed, Etheline. The sad trolling attempt is just weird.

  • tejas

JJ and Prentice are two of the absolute *best* female characters on TV today. That CBS is cutting them is obscene.

    • Scooptress

Your hyperbole detracts from your case rather than enhancing it.

  • kim

Treating characters as if they are disposible makes no sense. The point for any long running show is investment in the characters – so you care enough to watch week after week. Why invest if people they’ve convinced us to care about are axed and replaced like toothbrushes? I want JJ back full time – period.

    • Scooptress

      Spare us the unnecessary sanctimony.
