Rejected Fox pilot Breakout Kings has found new life on A&E. Sources confirm that the cabler has picked up the highly regarded hourlong drama for 13 episodes.
Created by Nick Santora and Prison Break‘s Matt Olmstead, the show revolves around a group of U.S. marshals and ex-cons that team up to apprehend escaped criminals. It stars Jason Cerbone, Domenick Lombardozzi, Laz Alonzo, Malcolm Goodwin, and Nicole Steinwedell.

Wish someone would pick up SMG’s rejected pilot “The Wonderful Maladys”
Saw this show during a focus group and it was horrible. The people in my group that liked it was 40 year old dads. The show is cheesy and seems to try and be edgey but comes across as a show with six stolen ideas. A&E should run far away from this show.

@Magness, I have seened a preview of this myself and I am very happy A&E picked it up! It does need some work but over all it is a great show! Don’t knock it people till you see it!
