While I liked the character of Rebecca, I never loved her and Justin together. I always felt like they were doomed to fail. Justin is my fav character and I agree this will open up so much more for him next year. I like where this is going.

Anna Paquin did a Hallmark movie. Didn’t seem to hurt her career. Ditto Kerri Russell.
Rebecca was a great character. I’ll miss her. EVC did a great job and I’m looking forward to seeing her in something new.
This is definitely a good thing. The last season of the show was pretty hit and miss and perhaps by removing some non-essential characters (read: non-Walkers), they can get back to focusing on the family. That being said, this was once a great show, but now… this should be the last season.

I’ll miss EVC more than I’ll miss Rebecca. If someone else had played her I don’t think I’d care about the character leaving. Not sure how next season’s going to go with missing/reduced characters though.
