If they have any more problems they may pull the plug on the whole damn show.

  • Fido

    (1) Her character could still be a virgin, just now an increasingly plump one. (2) Or they could shoot her from the waste up, like Season 2 of that Billie Piper show, or have her carry a clip board everywhere she goes. (3) The ptb don’t need to throw away all those(?) many-many eps already written, just make it an animated series. (4) Or how about just make her character a born-again virgin after that first time wasn’t such a cracking experience.

Mercy got terrible ratings, it was canceled weeks before the final episode and they only showed that much because of the Leno fiasco.

I think Lindsay is in the show that Kyle Howard (Bobby from My Boys) is on this fall, so she might not be available.

Same. Well, now NBC can be completely ignored on Thursdays at 10 – I can’t stomach The Apprentice. Maybe if they had used the opportunity to move Chuck out of the deadly Monday at 8 slot…

First the horribly racist and unfunny looking “Outsourced” gets added to the lineup, then they pull “Parks and Rec” till midseason, now this. Oh, NBC…

My thoughts exactly upon reading this headline. I was hoping this was the one of the two new shows in the fall schedule that affected the 8-10pm slot that caused P&R to be pushed to 2011. NBC seriously needs to grow a pair and take a chance on what was already a winning formula (Office, 30 Rock, P&R & Community). The Thursday night schedule was one of the few things they were getting right!

  • @NoMentionofKev

If they follow the movie, which it sounds like they are, then ‘Outsourced’ is about as far from racist as you can get. Watch the movie before making stupid statements like that.

  • Carm

I watched the extended trailer of the show a few weeks ago. It was not funny at all, but also not racist.

  • Wil

@ @NoMentionof Kev: Well, the movie is probably much better than what I’ve seen. I watched some of the previews waiting for it to be funny, but it was just awkward. There was only one really funny thing (the accent changing people or something) other than that it was clumsy and looked horrible compared to the show that it replaced (Parks & Rec). And unless you’ve seen the show itself and can give an actual claim that the show is like the movie in all or many ways from actual experience, your comment is more “stupid” than the one you responded to.

Does Amy Pohler have the same scheduling problem as Becki Newton? And by scheduling problem, I mean giant bun in the oven?

  • Dave

NBC Thursday comedy lineup anemic and unfunny? Better get that head injury checked out, Matt!

  • TVFanatic

@Friggin Tommy Noble You are so right! The only primetime NBC shows I watch are Thursday night’s line-up. NBC does need to “grow a pair,” and so do all the other networks, for that matter.
