I never watched Smallville and watched a few reruns but never got hooked into it until the season nine episode “Rabid” I loved that episode and since then i have collected season 1-7 on dvd and watch the last two season 9 episodes and can’t wait for Smallville premiere. Also i can’t wait for Kara Kent to come back. I loved her.

Allison Mack is not a series regular next season. No need to have her there.

*waves hand in the air* I’m going, I’m going, oh yeah, oh yeah! Bought my Sunday ticket back in March “just in case” and now found out today that I can go—woohoo! Missed out last year, but I wasn’t going to do the same this year, so excited! Thanks for this great news Ausiello!

  • Bill

Yeah. i’ve been a fan since the first season also.i’m gunna miss it.

  • MJG956

They should continue the saga with everyone,Chloe, etc…etc…, and call it “Metropolis The New Adventures of the Man Of Steel”.

  • Aaron

I agree with you Patsy wholeheartedly. I actually came across Smallville by accident , but it was so different from the other Superman TV series with oH I forget his name he actually had a cameo on Smallville and played an evil doctor. But anyway I lost my father about a year and a half ago. All I could think for the longest time is how enjoyable it would have been to have him here to watch the series with me. I kmow he would have enjoyed it as much as I do. And on a personal note when Clark finally lost his father (actor John Schnieder) to a failed hard it hit home really hard because that is exactly how my father passed. He was 55 and his heart got infected and gave out. I’m 34 yrs old and my mother died of kidney failure at 28 yrs old. I was only eight. And my father then had to raise my sister who is 2 yrs older than I and myself alone. I often wonder if the stress of working and trying to ge a faather and somewhat of a mother as well did not maybe damage his heart due to stress. He had two prior heart attacks through the years but always ended up healing and cominng home. Except for the last one. Bless his heart it just finally gave out. But I give alot of props and kudos to the production team they have had and have worked with. They never rushed to develop his character, Not to mention all the wonderfull cameos and guest stars they brought in to re-experience the Superman saga. Namely Chris Reeve of course I thought they handled his character beautifully. And of course Terence Stamp (the voice of Jor-El) was in Superman one. Clarks mom was Lana Lang in Superman Two. For some reason everyones names have slipped my mind for the moment. Margot Kidder got two take on a small role. I know I’m forgetting a bunch but just to have each of them get to once again become a small part of the D.C. universe brought them some work and some chances to re-connect a little. It brought a nice sense of continuity , you know what I mean? And theyalways requested help for the Christopher Reeve Foundation especially after his passing. I just really feel that it is less Hollywood with more class than most shows anddd I too will be bummed bad to see it go. But it is gonna be a good season thats for sure. Thanks for giving me a little extra inspiration with your comment. Aaron Newton

  • Aaron

Dean CAin thats the Superman that wasn’t nearly as popular. And P.S. what I really would have liked to have seen was Tom Welling and the rest of the cast get a shot at the Silver Screen. But they have already hired another actor to play Superman in the movies. And to be fair I thought he was a damned good actor, but it is sure taking then along time to come out with a sequel! You know maybe they could make a made for TV movie and include the regular cast. I’m sure the fans of the show who number (I woul;d guess) in the hundreds of thousands (icluding the overseas markets) would go for it. Well who knows.

  • Mei

Tom and Erica’s Clark and Lois are my fav TV couple. They just eat up the screen!

  • Dave

Aaron, I’m so sorry for your loss. I lost my uncle and my granfather to cancer, so I find “Reckoning” particularly moving as well. One day, my dad comes to me and says “My coworker told me about this show called ‘Smallville’ about Clark Kent before becoming Superman.” I saw one episode and I knew it was something special. A show doesn’t go for 10 seasons if it isn’t great and let me just say: “Smallville” is GREAT. It’s a bittersweet goodbye, I’ll miss it when it’s gone, but I’m eager to see Clark becoming the Man of Steel. Thank you for everyone involved with creating this amazing show. God bless you all and best of luck on future endeavors!

  • George

I agree with MJG956′s post it would be awesome if they would make the next series Metropolis the New Adventures of the Man of Steel, keeping all of the cast…They could change the title, but Smallville is the only TV series I watch. It sucks that it will be over soon, but why not keep the superman lore going…

  • Brian

I’m all for them letting Lois and Lex stay in the know.

  • pepper

Yeah there is no point in hiding it from Lois and Lex.

  • Lory

Please can you put the whole event on youtube for all the fans who can’t go cause we live very far !! Put the comic con on Youtube and also the new trailer pleaseeeeeee

  • Lory

Exactly !! Tom & Erica are the best
CLOIS4EVER WE WANT MORE OF THEM IN SEASON 10

  • Lory

it didn’t suck at all yes i agree Lex needs to be back but last couple season were great !!

  • Lory

allison mack is not a regular anymore so why she should be in the comic con Lol

  • Rob J.

Because she *should* still be on the show. And thus, she should be at the panel.

  • raylemerick@yahoo.com

what? smallvile is ending! it’s one of my favorite shows! we’ve seem lost end this year, 24 and now smallvile! what am i going to watch?

  • Lory

allison mack is not a regular anymore so why she should be in the comic con Lol

  • Rob J.

Because she *should* still be on the show. And thus, she should be at the panel.

  • Lory

you allison mack fans are really pathetic sometimes seriously without her it will be boring LMAO get over it

  • k

Supes- why can’t they think that? People like other characters moreso than others. It’s called being a fan.

  • Lois Stinks!

I would prefer Alison Mack over ED … that would make a better panel.

  • Jinx

I was wondering how long it would take for members of the heinous Chloe Cultists to make an appearance. Allison Mack must be so proud of the bile and venom that her rabid supporters spew in every single Smallville internet thread. Such a classy fanbase!

  • AT

To Jinx. It’s just as bad to accuse every Chloe fan of not being classy. Every fan base has rude fans. Smallville has some of the coolest AND rudest/nastiest fans of any fan base for every character/shipping out there.

  • Rebekah

Agreed, AT. It’s silly/unproductive/wrong to accuse any fanbase of being the the least classy or the rudest. Because truth is, all TV shows, actors, musicians, books, etc. are going to have pleasant AND rude fans. Wanna know why, people? Cause we’re humans, and guess what, sometimes we’re not nice. Get over it. I like Chloe AND Lois. I don’t mind when people prefer one over the other, or hate them. It doesn’t realy matter.

  • Jinx

@Rebekah. It doesn’t really matter when the hardcore chlarkers say repeatedly offensive things about the actress Erica Durance, rather than restricting their vemon to the character Lois? Well I hope you never have any children, because they will likely grow up to be nasty pieces of work!

  • Lory

i’m sorry but we all of us want Erica durance so AM is no longer a regular so it’s normal for her to not be at the comic con !!
    ERICA DURANCE IS THE BEST

  • Lois Stinks!

@ Jinx: Get off your cross! Where in my post did I say any negative about ED? If anyone is guilty of stirring the pot, you need not look further than a mirror!

@ Lory: I hope you’re in grade school. Otherwise, your writing is atrocious!

  • stacymac

@Lois Stinks! –Umm, you DID say something negative about ED in your post (Thu 07/08/10 4:20 PM); you clearly state that the Smallville panel is better without her! And the fact that your username is “Lois Stinks” describes how you feel, just saying!

  • Maddie

Yeah, typical Chloe fanatic thinking that it’s ok to be offensive about someone just because they can hide behind a computer. Try being so nasty to someone’s face and see what happens.

  • Lauren

And that his a SHAME. Allison Mack is one of the reasons for Smallville’s success. Their treatment of her/the character Chloe is a disgrace.

  • lol

oh please. she knew she was being written that way, she actually welcomed it. I’m sure the writers and AM care about how you want precious chloe to be written.

  • Mary

I think he’s saying that because before Season 9, Tom never went to Comic Con.

  • Erick

    That was beyond lame!

  • George

I agree with MJG956′s post it would be awesome if they would make the next series Metropolis the New Adventures of the Man of Steel, keeping all of the cast…They could change the title, but Smallville is the only TV series I watch. It sucks that it will be over soon, but why not keep the superman lore going…
