I think Angela or Kelly would be good. Eugene Levy I would rather stick pins in my eyes. What about Michael Richards?

  • Steven

    I havent read through all the comments so please forgive me if this has been suggested;
Bring new life/style of comedy to the boss position with someone like Rob Cordry. Hes crass and I love his delivery…may just work?

  • joc

But of course jack mc brayer

  • andrew

i heard will ferell is taking over. why has nobody said anyting bout that?

  • cemie

David Cross!!! All the way. I was bummed when I realized steve carrell really leaving till I saw David Cross’s name on this list. He could totally make the show just as funny or probably funnier! Tobias as new character is perfect!! He’s already shown he is hilarious!

  • Heath

He’s also on How I Met Your Mother, which is a more steady sitcom in my opinion. Without Gervais coming on board I think they should end it. Also, Gervais isn’t coming on board.

  • Monty

Leave NPH to HIMYM, which is superior to the Office.

  • Jamie

I would love if Emerson and O’Quinn were co-managers and Emerson in charge of the day-to-day and O’Quinn in charge of ‘big picture’ issues. That way Emerson would be leader of the others (Jim, Dwight, etc) and O’Quinn could focus on Dunder Mifflin’s destiny to make long term profits. (I miss LOST too!)

  • Jamie

Yes!!! Also, imagine if they brought in Martin Starr as a new salesman. I would love to see him interact with Dwight and Jim

  • orville

And who does the awkward pause better than him?

  • allie

I do adore that man with a passion. He’s just The Awesomeness.

  • Rachel

definitely, i think he could fill michaels shoes just fine

  • SimonJ

    Off-the-wall, but brilliant!
The more I think about it, the more I like it.
But only if Hot Pockets becomes a sponsor of the show.

  • ds

actually i think most people find them highly annoying

  • also…

and then maybe they could hire jay harrington, and andrea anders, and the guys who played lem + phil. and change the name of dunder mifflin to veridian dynamics. i am not taking the better off ted cancellation well! ha. seriously though? office has got to be ended. no michael scott = failure.

  • Scooptress

Calm down, Josh. Jillian already expressed the idea perfectly.
Your hysterics are crass, immature, and unnecessary.
Please show a little respect for fellow fans of this show.

  • The Polka King Of Chicago

Scooptress – How exactly were his comments crass, immature, and unnecessary? And how was he being hysterical? I think you’re reading a little bit too much into his comments. Are you a little loopy?

  • Scooptress

    Shut it.

    Seriously. You disgust me.

  • Scooptress

It’s best that you remain on the sidelines as a reader rather than a participant in these threads, Tracy.
    Thank you.

  • Scooptress

Your inability to express a logical or interesting thought is highly annoying, ds.

  • j

i LOVE the idea of making dwight co-regional manager with jim. throw in michael emerson as a new salesman and i will forget my doubts of an office without michael scott ever existed

  • Rhonda

The Original (BBC-version) of The Office can be seen at fancast.com. :)

  • Rachel

that’d be a great ending, if they got married & moved to another city or something like that

  • Michele

If anyone British should do it, it should be Steve Merchant.

  • ditto

Stephen Colbert is the only way The Office will survive another season without Steve Carell. But he wouldn’t leave his show in NY.

  • ditto

Wow, I could totally see that. Good call.

  • Your face

    is highly annoying.

  • Sheikia

    YES! That’s perfect!
