It’s nearly the same nominees every year.
I like Mariska Hargitay and Kyra Sedgwick but they did nothing extraordinary this season to deserve being nominated, while Paget Brewster and Mary McCormack were AWESOME, kicking down doors, running, shooting, expressing all shade of emotions from anger, pain, fear, insightfulness,… and YET nothing!
What about Cougar Town and Drop Dead Diva?
I was recently watching a couple of the high caliber episodes of the second half of this season of Fringe and I’m getting more and more upset that there was NO FRINGE LOVE. John Noble and Joshua Jackson did some incredible work in numerous episodes this past season. John Noble was always on target throughout. Starting with What Lies Below on, Joshua Jackson has been even more on top of it than he already was as Peter Bishop. Seeing his emotions in What Lies Below and then in subsequent episodes, watching and hearing about Walters experiments in Jacksonville and on through to the end of the season finding out about his true fate as the “alternate Peter”… Just amazing acting all around. What a shame it wasn’t recognized at all.
alan cumming on the GOOD WIFE. the best. His smackdown of the teen blogger was brilliant.” enjoy your high school years, sweetheart. they really are the best time of your life”.
Why is Chris Meloni always overlooked for L&O SVU? He has turned in some outstanding performances over the years and deserves to be recognized. I also hope they do a special tribute to Law and Order at this year’s Emmys. After 20 years of high quality drama, they deserve a special nod since NBC so foolishly chose fit to cancel this outstanding and landmark show.
Hello… Parenthood anyone? Super talented Lauren Graham snubbed for years on Gilmmore Girls continues to get snubbed… Peter Krause? Craig T. Nelson? Also, when is The Middle going to get the love it deserves? — it’s as funny as Modern Family. Just my two cents…
AGREED! lisa is AMAZING on house and she deserves an emmy more than ALL of those people
Just thought of this one – Diane Farr was fantastic as Eddie’s mother in Desperate Housewives. She should have been nominated as Best Guest Actress…
