I haven’t read the books, but I am in agreement with Cal, Snsetblaze, and Fin. I didn’t find much difference between the show and Women’s Murder Club, except more gore. We know what happened to that show–a cancellation that I don’t miss. It was the pilot, it is summer, and cable–so I expect it will survive this season, but I hope it improves, or I’m afraid we have another “Saving Grace”. My feeling especially when your lead-in is one of the best shows on Cable in “Closer”.

I loved the show, but was a little surprised at the goryness of it. I’ve read all the books, so I knew what the storyline was, but I was taken aback at how explicit it was. I was watching with a four-year old and had to turn it off to send her out the room. But, despite this, they’ve hooked me. I am a now a regular viewer and hope they continue to do such a good job with this show :)

Too much advertising. By the time the show debuted, the first episode
was somewhat of a disappointment. Maybe they expected the audience to be familiar with the books. I was not and found the first episode to be lacking in some areas. Who wrote the books?

This was a great pilot. I hope it keep up. The attention to detail in the story is immaculate. I will keep watching online, even though I don’t have cable.

Although “the woman in peril” situation has been done…I think this is the first time I’ve watched a woman defend herself with a road flare and shoot a guy while duct taped. I loved the show and thought it was pretty darn good. I’m such a Twilight fan, I love Billy Burke.

We really love the actors you have on this show BUT IT DOES NEED A LOT OF TWEAKING IN THE WRITING! Please don’t let this show get canceled because of this.

Will this be broadcast on the major tv networks.

    • Jak

Nope. It’s exclusive to TNT just like all of their original programs.

Rizzoli &Isles is fair but could be better without Sasha Alexander So far she adds nothing. Was glad when she left NCIS. The show is a mixture of dull and boring.

When you can get 50% positive ratings you have a hit show.

  • Jennifer

I’m not going to carve out an hour of my time for this. Really disappointing. Tuned in to watch Sasha Alexander after NCIS days. Both actresses are more capable than tis.

You seem to have it wrong. Angie Harmon playe Maura
Isles and the other girl play Rizzoli.

  • Nivek

Angie Harmon is hot. She looks great in those high heels she wears all the time, Nice!!!!

I’ve read all the Jane Rizzoli books and I was looking forward to this show. IT WAS TERRIBLE! My husband has read all the books as well and thought the show was awful as well. My 29 year old daughter (who has never read the books) asked me if I had seen a new show called Rizzoli & Isles and when I told her I had, told me she had watched it and thought the show was horrible. She told me she changed the channel after 45 minutes and I told her I had done the same thing. I couldn’t even sit through the show it was so bad. Angie Harmon is a bad actress and the show is just not believable. In my family, it has three strikes against it.
