So excited to see Sela Ward come back to TV. She was so great on House and Sisters. I will definitely tune in!

Will miss MK but always have been a fan of Sela Ward. From her days on the drama Sisters to her role on House as his love interest. I think she will do an excellent job on the show.

I LOVED Sela on Sisters but I didn’t care for her on House being his love interest because her character was married. I know, I’m a prude LOL but it turned me off of her character especially because her poor husband was so ill. I think they just made her out to be not such a likable character because of that & it worked :(
I love CSI:NY so I’ll continue to watch even though I don’t care for Sela too much anymore but because I adore the rest of the cast, especially Gary Sinise, he was AMAZING in the movie The Stand, love him to bits in that. :) Oh and Eddie, loved him in Miracle, too cute!

I liked Melina, but I really love Sela. I’m looking forward to seeing the new character and hope TPTB don’t screw it up by trying to make her too much like Stella.

It all comes down to the writing. Sela is a very good actress going back to “Emerald Point” on CBS many years ago. I think she wil be a spunky new addition to the show if they develop her character in a positive and spunky way.

Well this ought to be good! Sela Ward is a series death threat. Anything she has been on goes straight to the sewer. I wish they would have waited just a little bit before they made a choice.

ummm… can we say House, Sisters, Now and Again. Nothing “straight to” about any of those. Not a fan of the rushedness of this whole thing, and hope they do fans right with an actual story and original character, but she’s got talent. The real question is do the writers have what it takes to write a her into the show.

I can’t wait for the seventh season of CSI: NY to premiere. I would like to see how Sela Ward’s character interacts with Lindsay, Danny, Adam, Mac.

  • Linda

Definitely going to watch the show now! Season 7 though??? Wow, time sure flies!

hate to see melina leave howill she exit or will she just leave sela ward will be a nice addition shes hot

I think they should bring in a new, unknown actor instead of bringing in Sela Ward. I will miss Melina, I thought she played her character tough but still feminine.
Belinda, her curly hair, seriously that bothers you? First, it’s beautiful, second, that’s her hair, it’s curly & what of it? At least it’s not bleached & fake with extensions like so many plastic starlets. She is quite beautiful as is her curly hair.

I did not like Melina. Actually I disliked her so much I started TiVo’ng through her scenes. Then I stopped watching the show. I love SELA WARD so I am very, very excited about this. And I am glad that it will be airing on Friday nights.

We can’t just stop watching a show just because people are leaving it. Vanessa Ferlito( Aiden Burn) left the show, did people stop watching it? No. Emmanualle Vaguier( Jessica Angell) left the show, did people stop watching it? No. So why should we stop watching now? If Melina want’s to leave, fine go. We enjoyed watching her and now it’s time for a new face. Even in CSI, Grissom left, did people stop watching it? No. When Kate Walsh left Grey’s Anatomy, did people stop watching it? No. People come and go, that doesn’t mean you just boycott the show! Come on people, this is an epic show, it is fantastic. Don’t cry over spilt milk. She’s gone, deal with it. Now let’s try something new. Don’t stop watching the show.

I want Stella back. Sela Ward is about asenthusiastic as David Caruso. They should do a dull show together. At least
    stella’s character had life.

  • maria

I REALLY THINK SELA IS A MUCH BETTER ACTRESS AND THE WRITERS MAKE JO A MUCH MORE BELIEVABLE CHARACTER THEN STELLA WHO SEEMED TO BE THE OFFICE BOMSHELL INSTEAD OF A REAL CSI
