Image Credit: Toby Canham/Getty ImagesThe Forgotten‘s Rochelle Aytes has booked a recurring role on ABC’s upcoming cop drama Detroit 1-8-7, sources confirm to me exclusively.
Aytes will play Alice Williams, a smart, sexy, ambitious lawyer in the Wayne County prosecutor’s office.
Detroit, which stars Sopranos vet Michael Imperioli, airs Tuesdays at 10 pm beginning Sept. 21.

Happy for her but still annoyed that The Forgotten got cancelled. It’s a true shame when a good show like that is thrown away.
Definitely. The Forgotten got better and better as the season went on. ABC dropped a good one when they shut it down.
Yet another reason I don’t watch ABC anymore – they don’t offer anything worth viewing IMO.
I’m just glad they gave Forgotten an ending. Course later airing the last two episodes months later (and also definitely out of sequence, where one of them was a direct lead in to the finale) wasn’t the smartest idea.
I’m going to be watching this new t.v show. I have seen the t.v. promos for this new show! I’m sure that it will be good.

The trailers I’ve seen so far for Detroit 187 are really good, hard- hitting, tough as nails kind of drama. Like Jennifer, I think The Forgotten should have gotten another season. That was such a well crafted show. I wish ABC could have tried airing a season of The Forgotten on Thursdays at 10pm following Rookie Blue to see if it would have picked up an audience during the summer season. Still, I did enjoy the final episodes they presented on a Saturday last month. They were outstanding. And I guess to ABC the bottom line must be if a program can’t grow out of the DWTS lead then its toast. Hopefully Detroit 187 will succeed. The cast is certainly impeccable.
