Susan Olsen guests on 'The Young and the Restless'

susan-olsenImage Credit: David Livingston/Getty ImagesBe on the look out for a very special Brady episode of The Young and The Restless! EW has learned exclusively that Susan Olsen (The Brady Bunch) will make her first scripted TV appearance in more than 10 years by playing Mrs. Liza Morton, a pre-school owner.  Her episode, which will be shot on July 30, will air Sept. 1.

In the scene, Reed – the son of JT and Victoria – is returning to preschool while Delia – the daughter of Chloe and Billy – is starting her first day of pre-school.

Olsen, who recently co-authored Love to Love You Bradys,  previously appeared on Fox Reality’s Gimme My Reality Show in the fall of 2008. Celebrities compete to win their own reality show but Olsen used the show to advocate on behalf of animal rescue groups.

In the episode she accuses Billy Abbot of stealing Kitty Karry-All. Much drama ensues.

    • Pisces228

      LOL! Very clever.

  • jimbo jones

hopefully she doesnt break up dakota and montana

  • gwen

She looks like she’s been rode hard and put away wet. She probably smokes a thousand cigarettes a day.

    • Merrydan

I think she looks great for pushing 50.

    • Razberries

I think Susan looks great for her age! She does so much to help with animal rescues and fostering. That makes her lovely both on the outside and the inside. Look at her genuine, pretty smile. That is a beautiful person.

    • Banana Anna

People grow up. Sorry she isn’t still sporting ponytails for you. I’d like to see how well you’ve aged in 40 years.

    • Ashleigh

LOL have to rely on Gossip Girl for your b*tchy putdowns, little girl?

      • gwen

I’m not saying she should be as beautiful as me, because, yeah, that’s a pretty high bar. All I’m saying is that she looks horrible, for any age. I know she’s some kind of third rate icon for senior citizens, but really, if you want to be a celebrity, you need to look the part. If I wanted to look at ugly people, I would just go to Wal-Mart, I watch TV to see people that are more near my standard of beauty.

      • Raymond

Str8 up haterizm gwen. How unattractive of you…

      • gwen

You can call me a lot of things, but “unattractive” isn’t one of them!

      • Razberries

        Gwen- as “beautiful” as you?
If you are so beautiful, why are you arguing with a bunch of people on the internet? Shouldn’t you go off and be in a Pantene commercial or something?
By the way, I’m 35- I’d hardly call myself a senior citizen. How old are you, 16? Wait a few years and get back to us when you reach 50. I’d like to see how good you’ll look…

      • gwen

I’m not arguing with anyone, they’re arguing with me. I just pointed out the obvious.
Believe it or not, the internet isn’t just for ugly shut ins, even us genetic lottery winners use it occasionally. I will look stunning at 50, just as I do now.

      • Banana Anna

LOL Gwen! I thought you were serious at first, but then I realized no one could really be that stupid. You almost had us! TROLL ON!

      • gwen

It is not stupid to value appearance. If your boyfriend/husband ever saw me, whenever he was with you, it would be me he was thinking about…
Oh crap, you got me, lol! What gave it away? The “genetic lottery” thing? I thought that might be pushing it, but I went for it anyway. That Susan Olsen chick does look pretty harsh, but yeah, the rest was just me screwing around. Maybe I only “almost” had you, but I reeled in the others like they were bass. Oh well, it was fun while it lasted, lol.

    • kristine

gwen, your comment about somebodys husband looking at you and thinking about you wont work with my husband he thinks about me and no one else you are so vain your pathetic

    • analpap

gwen let me take you to hell and anal you

  • TorontoTom

    Victor Newman’s next wife?!?

  • Buzz

this defines the term “stunt casting”. Can’t Y&R do something actually newsworthy to warrant a mention in the mainstream press?

    • Walter

Oh sage Buzz, please enlighten us with what you think would be something newsworthy.

    • Mcfly

Maybe she just wants to be a working actress.

    • yellow

You sound like Jamey from daytime confidental saying those same sage words

  • Mcfly

I saw her on and episode of Gunsmoke on TV Land the other day. Must have been the same year The Brady Bunch started. Kitty CarryAll was kidnapped and Matt Dillon had to save her.

  • Kyle

Thee thellth thee-thellths by the theethore.

  • Jay

I will watch to see her. I pray to God that horrible Victor Newman is off the show, I can’t take him, he is the worst.

  • Bill

Gwen, That was a very nasty comment to make, it just goes to show how ugly you are, inside and out.

  • jnonney

Susan Olsen?! oh, yeah. wasn’t she the second little girl to play Cindy. i think i’ve forgotten. nevertheless, i hope this stint will propel her back into the ‘acting’ spotlight, big time.

  • Teresa Niles

I grew up a devout Brady Bunch fan. Susan is my age. It’s good to see her again.

  • Randy

    Damn, she’s ugly!

  • Kerry

    Saw it. She looks awful.

  • raymond

Susan,I saw your recent photo and I was impressed on how nice you looked and I really don’t care what others think I have liked since the Brady bunch was on TV. Did you ever keeo kitty carry all? Ray

  • dee

Susan-you look great, hope to see you again on the show.
