The Community cast kicks serious ass—and no, I’m not referring to their considerable comedy chops. They literally kicked my ass earlier today at Comic-Con. Luckily, I got what I needed out of them—season 2 spoilers, natch—before things turned violent. In related news, I’m bringing my rape whistle to San Diego next year.

“He had to pull out”
“That’s what she said”
I wouldn’t complain if I were physically assaulted by Joel McHale.
ditto!
I was just thinking the same thing. He can pull my shoes off anytime.
ONE AT A TIME!!
I love those guys…though it was damn near impossible to tell what was going other than the fact that they were having a great time.
Yvette Nicole Brown is so likeable and so unlike Shirley.
Ausiello hasn’t seen “Dark City”? I didn’t think my opinion of him could get any lower. You cover the entertainment business and haven’t seen the movie from which most of the movies like The Matrix and even Inception can trace their roots to? Ausiello=poser. Meanwhile McHale= cool.
Totally agree, how has he not seen that movie???
C’mon, Ausiello is a god. I’ve seen Dark City and as profound as it was, it wasn’t that epic. One could say that Fishtar was important in it’s own right, and it was. Ausiello generally hits the nail on the head, so don’t tear him down for one omission.
People need to get over this silly idea that there is an obligation to see certain movies. If a movie interests you, or stars a favorite actor, or is what your companions want to see, by all means see it. But if none of those apply, and you have other movies or other activities that interest you more, skip it. Life is too short to do things just because other people are doing them.
Tego, I get what you’re saying, but we’re talking about a person who works in entertainment media. While there may not be an *obligation*, there’s certainly an *expectation*.
oh for chrissake, you can’t see everything, even if you’re in the entertainment media business. Do you know how many “must see” movies and TV shows there are? And Ausiello is a TV reporter, not a film reporter, so get your head out of your snooty butt and stop your complaining!
You do realize that he reports pretty much exclusively on TV and not on movies, right?
THIS is why I love Community and its awesome cast. Oh and I am starting to be in like with Mr. Ausiello too after seeing him do the live broadcast interview w/ True Blood cast.
May be the best comedy ensemble since Cheers
Britta and Jeff are like Sam and Diane…and I hated Sam and Diane.
Who are Sam and Diane?
Okay, we get it. You’re young!
They are the OTP of the show!!
I have not seen Community yet…but that interview may have converted me. That was hilarious!!! Poor Aussiello, though. People just like to touch him, I guess.
You should def check Community out. They have a few eps posted on hulu right now. Don’t get discouraged by the first half of the season either, the 2nd half was the best comedy on television.
the first half of the season is great too!
Jess, go to Hulu and watch the Community episode called “Modern Warfare.” That’s the paintball episode they were talking about in the video. It’s hysterical. It will definitely make you a Community convert.
Best episode for sure!
What I want to know is why EW is always so slow to report things. I just heard about a violent incident at Comic Con, and EW has yet to say a word about it.
Oh man, I want Alison’s hand on my leg like that.
Ohh I just loved this whole interview. Especially a cozy Alison and Joel on the couch.
McHale is so hot. What I would give to be Alison in that moment.
I support team Annie!
I love this cast.
“he had to pull out last minute”
that’s what she said.
that came way out of left field. i love it! team annie! lol
