Exclusive 'Fringe' video: Cast reflects on Olivia/Peter romance, and the show's endgame

Contrary to popular opinion, I don’t have to get violently pantsed or viciously gang tackled to enjoy myself during an interview. Read the full post.

John Noble and his Walter are the best part about this show ,it’s what saved some of season 1 and the guy is just brilliant ,I was totally sad when he wasn’t given an Emmy nod, he deserves it,he’s like what Locke was for Lost back in the day.

I hope they don’t exaggerate with the Peter/Olivia, I’m not opposed or interested in it and I hope they don’t exaggerate like they did on other shows(House,I’m looking at u)

Ooh I am so excited and scared for the next season in so many ways!!!! I don’t think I WANT to like the people from the alternate universe!! But I am still so excited for September!
Anna, Josh, and John look so fantastic in this video!!

Awsome interview. FRINGE is great and I love these actors. Such excellent casting!!
(Josh…are you drinking a beer? Okay…you deserve to let loose!)

I’m 55 and have been watching science fiction on TV since I was a teenager. I haven’t loved a show like this since I watched the original “Star Trek” back when it was on NBC.

  • Elizabeth

    Joshua – its already amazing!

    Is it September yet?

What a great interview, thank you. In these days of tightly scripted PR soundbytes its rare to see actors talking about acting and character with such passion and intelligence. I love that they all seem to love the show as much as I do lol!
I only wish more people could discover how great Fringe is.

thanks. Great interview. It’s funny that all they need is a little push and they start talking to each other while Mike is on the background :)

  • just me

i didnt know anna torv was british

  • Cynthia

She’s not British. She’s Australian (as is John Noble).

    • Noodle

      And Josh is Canadian.

I’m really happy to hear they’re not going to make the alt-universe the “bad” universe. I was afraid that Walternate especially would end up being so evil that our Walter’s sins would not seem so bad. Season 3 can’t get here soon enough for me!

There is a Farscape episode Infinite Possibilities, Part 2: “Icarus Abides” where the ‘alternate’ or cloned John Crichton dies and Aeryn Sun is devastated, but she knows there is ‘another’ John. It still didn’t make any difference; she was still devastated ‘her’ John died. The first story arch I thought of was when Alt Olivia ended up on our side was what if Peter & Alt Olivia ‘explored’ their love & took it to an entire level & then she dies & he doesn’t know that his real Olivia is still alive yada, yada, yada. This would be a chance for the character of Peter/Joshua Jackson to shine & I’m confident he would do an excellent job.

      I miss Farscape.

  • Matt

OK- that sounds EPIC. 2 sides that you can’t really choose between- that’s awesome. I like that idea a lot. CAN’T WAIT!

  • Slimer

Great interview, Michael. Truly great cast.

  • champmav

  • McIz
