GREAT INTERVIEWS…..Thanks Ausiello! Good to see some one on one time and find out a little more about the show. Good to also hear the right questions asked in order to find out more details about what’s to come in Season 10. Love the route Brian and Kelly are going in making the show a little different and changing up a bit more to see the show grow and mature in story lines! Way to go, but as always a fan’s gotta keep their fingers crossed to hope that they do deliver to satify

When did Erica Durance become the star of the show? I thought that was Tom.
I don’t think anyone said anything about Erica being the star over Tom, but seeing as how Lois Lane is the only other Superman character that has been in the comics with Superman since Action Comics #1 (no Ma & Pa Kent, and the DP editor doesn’t have a name), so perhaps with this being the final season (and the small tidbit of Lois being his future WIFE and all), she deserves to be integrated into the story as one of the secret keepers.
well, Erica Durance seems to be the best actor in this show. She is a perfect Lois Lane.

Ausiello never said Erica was the star of the show. He said she was the leading lady. Which she is now. She is playing Clark’s future wife, she’s in 22 episodes and that makes her the leading lady this season. Lois Lane is always the leading lady in any Superman story and as we approach the end of this series it’s only fitting that her role has increased. I think the entire cast is very talented. I think Erica plays a really great Lois Lane. A very close representation to the modern comics. Great show. Great cast.

@ trolo. Erica Durance has a much bigger acting range than the other two most-talked about ladies of Smallville, Allison Mack and Kristin Kreuk. But then again, those two haven’t exactly set the bar very high.
Erica Durance aka Pattylaurie has pushed to be the “lead” of Smallville, now she’s finally got it. In the last season, after both Kristin & Allison chose to leave. So now Smallville it’s the “Adventures of BotoxBimboLois & uh, Clark” show. Is she pimping her naked parties?

I’d rather watch Lois and Clark then watch Clark wallowing in self pity in the barn with a sidekick running around being his motherly unit. I’m just gonna come out and say it, I’m not a hardcore Smallville fan but I love Superman and his comics, and I know you guys will bash me but Smallville Clark is one of the most horrific interpretations of Clark Kent ever, even in the Superboy comics Clark wasn’t like this. In S8 they turned it around but then I left again because they totally butchered Doomsday the most wickedest enemies for Supes for some lame ass love triangle and I dunno what the hell they did with Clark in the middle half I just left… anyways in S9 they totally changed Clark for the better, now thats the Clark I wanted to see albeit I watched until the episode Conspiracy and then came back for the finale, and jesus holy mother of pearl that finale was out of this world couldn’t believe what I was seeing. Clark definitely was awesome in S9 and I dont mind Lois with him because she doesnt make him look stupid and utterly brain dead, haha the guy actually learned to use a computer and he was off investigating on his own that’s an accomplishment right there folks, and Lois doesn’t provide him with the stupid self pity angst that other characters dish out every episode because their so high up Clark’s butt or their so sad or whatever the hell is bugging them, Lois doesnt worship or make Clark her priority which is cool beans to me, thats Lois in the comics. I agree with Troy I don’t understand why people cant just enjoy the show, I guess I’ll never understand why people do what they do but I think you guys take things to the extreme. Its a TV show not real life dont get so paranoid guys. FYI, Geoff John’s freakin’ awesome all you Smallville fans will really enjoy Booster Gold and Blue Beetle their my fav characters also and your gonna really enjoy these guys. Trust me.

Erica Durance is wonderful and the most talented actress on this show. She’s the best Lois Lane ever, not my words, Geoff John’s.
Kristin isn’t with the show anymore so there’s no point in ‘giving her importance’ or saying anything about her. Lana’s importance was exaggerated on the show too much, but in any case, when she used to be the leading lady, she got all the press etc, that’s no longer the case now. The story has moved on and become Superman’s story now, and hence Lois Lane is the leading lady. Erica is playing her, and she’s eventually going to get her due share of limelight (something she has deserved for years but sadly never gotten). Bottom line, Lois is finally getting a chance to shine and that’s a great thing.
As for Chloe’s ever bitter and angry fans, get out from behind your computers and get a life people, that’s all I’ve got to say.

What a drama. Lois deserves to be the leading actress in the 10th season, but that said, it would also be nice to appreciate Kristen Kreuk and Allison Mack in Smallville. Sure, Lois lane is important as superman, but alot of viewers dont even read superman comics or see superman movies ( including me and most of my friends ). As for me, as much as I love lois, I’ll always picture Lana + Clark and Chloe as best friend of both. Cause I only saw Smallville, not the rest. And if u just see Smallville..well lois is in general less important than Allison Mack and Kristen Kreuk were in the show. All the 3 ladies deserves credits and are very talended. No need to critize one of those ladies. They are all amazing.
