  • Jeff from Jersey; yes New Jersey

To put it simply, this is going to be good, excellent, outlandish and out and out full tilt bozo funny.

    • kim in kentucky

no, it will be out full tile “frizbo” funny!

      • jrm

Or maybe “fizbo”? If you mean Cam’s clown name, that is.

  • lettergirl

oh, please, please, please don’t screw this up. some of the guest stars have been A MAZ ING and some have fallen FLAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT. LOVE this show!!!! :)

  • Philly Ray

I vote for Katey Sagal to guest star as Cameron’s mom!!!

    • Waage

      i second that

      • Billie

        thirded. motion passed.

  • Dave

I love Nathan Lane; he’s a brilliant actor. I hope they give him good enough material to make his outlandish behavior seem appropriate!

  • bunker

Delta Burke should play Cameron’s mother.

    • Trixie

      Hah that would be awesome.

    • oldrockchick

While I wouldn’t mind Delta Burke or Katey Sagal as Cam’s mom, my first/favorite fantasy choice would be Kathleen Turner.

  • Steven

That’s so funny. I remember them mentioning Pepper last season!

    • alex

yes! because they were saying their friends have strange names.. :)

  • Rusty Shackleford

Oh great. Now we’ll have so over the top flamboyant acting. Not looking forward to it.

    • jerzeegirl

Umm Rust, you can always change the channel!

  • Anona Muss

Squeal of glee! Just today I was imitating Mitchell’s Prius scraping against the rich man’s car.

  • Samantha

This is going to be legendary!

I already predict guest emmy nod for next year!

    So excited! excellent casting!!!!

  • Jacob

As cool as this sounds, I kinda half wished that Pepper would remain a series-long enigma, à la Maris on Frasier. But, I suppose if you’re gonna give us the character, who better than Nathan Lane? I know he’ll be great on the show…

  • Barry

I just hope he’s not out of The Addams Family the night I go see it because he’s in Hollyweird filming this episode.

    • Redeye

Good luck!! I bought tickets many months ago for August 28th, and Lane will be on vacation!! I decided to still go, even though I wanted to see him of course!! I have excellent seats, and the stand-by actor has a fantastic resume, and usually works when Nathan Lane is in a show. Also, I tired to see when the next available tix where, and there was nothing good for months. The ironic thing is that it did not get good reviews, but it is always sold out! On another note, I saw Jesse Tyler Ferguson in both Shakespeare in the Park plays, and he was great!! I love everyone in the cast, and I think there should be a tie with Glee for the emmy award. Both great if different ways!!

  • Ang

    Yaaaaay!

  • Bob

    Yay for Justin!

  • Quito

Nathan Lane is the one actor that can improve any and every production he is in! Kudos to Modern Family producer for landing this guy!

  • Michelle

I vote Delta Burke to play Cam’s mother! She would be awesome!!! Love her!
