Exclusive: 'Hung' star Rebecca Creskoff heads to 'Desperate Housewives'

Rebecca Creskoff—who currently stars as Jane Adams’ rival man merchant on HBO’s Hung—has been tapped to guest star in an October episode of Desperate Housewives, sources confirm to me exclusively.

Details of her Housewives role are being kept under wraps, but it’s my understanding that Creskoff will be playing a new adversary of Susan’s (Teri Hatcher).

When I saw the headline, I thought it was Jane Adams and I got all excited. Blah.

  • Joe

Does this mean Hung has been canceled.

    • Valerie

      No

Hung’s a summer show. There shouldn’t be any filming conflicts, etc.

I wish rebecca would replace teri

I loved her on Greetings from Tuscon so it will be cool to see her on DH. Maybe she can help liven up the show.

She was one of the better parts of Quintuplets, too. I usually hate it when Ausiello (and lots of other people, too) ignore an actor’s starring credits in favor of some little bit part on a cult show with a tiny audience, but since Hung is a current show and her series starring roles were several years ago, this one doesn’t bother me).

      • LogopolisMike

You’re right. Ausiello should totally mention her role on a show that aired five years ago and had almost as many episodes as an HBO series over 2 seasons, especially a show like Quintuplets, which is best known for being on any number of “Worst of the Decades/Ever/Fox” shows lists.

There are plenty of things to complain about – but this is the graspingest of graspy straws.

  • paige

she’s the best thing about Hung- without her the show is kinda blah

  • frelling_cute

So sad to see such a great show turn into such a joke.
Why do they keep milking it???

  • Becca

I think I have finally stopped watching DH. The whole Angie storyline was so random and anticlimactic, and everyone’s storylines were generally boring or too extreme. I had fun watching, but I’m ready to let go. We had some good times housewives!

  • TV Fan

Hopefully this new character will be more interesting, believeable, and better than Kathy Najimy’s “I-hated-Susan-since-high-school” cop character. She was one of the reasons DH sucked last season.

  • Earl Boods

I hope she doesn’t get killed and BestChristianDatingSite was very good
