Chuck has recruited erstwhile Incredible Hulk Lou Ferrigno to guest-star in this season’s second episode, sources confirm to me exclusively.

Ferrigno will play the bodyguard of an evil spy/model (ex-Victoria’s Secret Angel Karolina Kurkova).

Chuck‘s fourth season gets under way Sept. 20.

Is Chuck playing to have episode 3 of the season break the record for greatest guest cast ever?!

  • faffity

People who comment on these stories are dummies.

    • Topher

What does it say about idiots that have to comment on the dummies comments? This dummy is beyond stoked! Chuck is going for broke and I love it.

      • Jello

Yeah it looks like their pulling out all the stops this ever increasingly awesome season. Can’t wait. :D

  • winston

Does he mean episode 3 or 4 because I thought nicole richie and steve austen were in ep three.

    • Emily

I thought they were going to be in the season primere

  • Finn

Jeez, lots of crazy casting on Chuck. Love the show, but let’s not lose our minds here! Is the third episode some kind of crazy psycho reunion?

  • Diva

Chuck is bringing in the big guns this year. Are you going to get Michelle Obama too?

  • Bruce_F

Is Chuck getting into a stunt casting war with 30 Rock or something?

It’s only a matter of time before Chuck enlists Betty White to play Greta.

    • Ambaryerno

I’ve already asked for this. ;-)

      • ythu

        you must be a genius!

    • j

nope – they’re getting either cloris leachman or the departed cast of the golden girls

      • B.

Honestly I’d rather see Cloris than Betty. Betty is a bigger name currently, but Cloris is a wonderfully funny actress. She’d fit in well, I think.

  • Kermonk

Hm, another character known to a minority. At least Keibler is easy on the eyes :)

    • Catarina

Minority? Are you insane? You are talking about THE FREAKIN’ HULK!!!!!
And I believe every male between 15 and 25 would recognize the former Victoria Secret’s angel. I think it is great casting. I repeat: it is THE HULK!!!!!!

      • Melissa

Lou Ferrigno was awesome as the Hulk.

  • chuckfan

Five guest stars in one episode is just too much. Or has Ausiello got it wrong and Ferrigno and the model are slated to appear in 4×02 (I recall TPTB saying that they were looking for a model to play a super model in 4×02)

    • panda

chuckfan: You are correct, the episode with the casting call for the model was for 4×02 as mentioned above. But Nicole Richie and Steve Austin are slated to appear in episode 4×04 I believe

  • Joe

I take it their budget went up..No complaints here..

    • patty

They probably are saving money not paying for Routh.

  • BuyMore IG88

WIN! The casting has been PERFECT so far! They’re pulling in all the big guns to make sure we get a season 5.

To make it the show with the most win, we now need Betty White

    • DGV142

Ok, seriously, what’s with the sudden Betty White obsession all over the place? I don’t get it.

      • Catarina

I am against casting Betty White. I love her, but it would be sooooo “been there, done that”, I mean, she is everywhere. Let’s hope they keep up the good casting to compensate for almost a whole season of Brandon-robot-face-Routh looking blasé.

      • Jeff

Speaking of Brandon looking like a robot and Chuck hiring old-time actors, the show should hire Dick Gautier to play Brandon’s father (or maybe grandfather, not sure how old he is). Either that, or have Gautier play Hymie from “Get Smart” again :)

      • AuntieD

Catarina, I believe the Betty White thing is a JOKE – and I think it’s funny!

  • May

Wow, well if Chuck is only going to get the original 13 episode order, we’ll have 13 epic guest casting news. Season 4 is shaping up to be killer!

  • Jen E.

I love me some Lou! Chuck surprisingly disappointed me last season, but I can’t see that happening this fall. Amazing casting!

    • sam

Yeah, you’re right on Jen I too love this show but was disappointed until the last 6 shows. I just thought they kind of lost where they were going.

    • Jello

Funny I didn’t, then again I came in late. I just thought it was more dramatic then usual, which is okay with me I love both drama and lightness so I was fine with it.

  • Charlie

Unlike How I Met Your Mother this past season, Chuck hits the mark with the endless stunt casting. Majority of all the great guest stars they’ve had have been memorable.

  • Sinatra the third

yeah I’m sure it took at least 50 dollars to get Lou the old deaf bodybuilder.

  • Joe

Yay Lou!! I met him at a Comic Con and he’s a really nice guy. Glad to see Chuck wading into the deep end of its geek roots this year.

Now…where is Lynda Carter?? I’d love for her to be Chuck and Ellie’s Auntie. She could fight spies with Sarah and sing with Jeffster…

    • ajc

Oh YES! That would be perfect. :) Wonder Woman has to make a cameo.
