Exclusive 'House' video: Jesse Spencer on the new GIRLS in Chase's life

jesse-spencer-ausielloLet there be no doubt: Chase has moved on from Cameron. That’s the word from Jesse Spencer, who revealed at Fox’s press tour bash last night that when House returns this fall, his newly divorced doc will juggling more than one new flame. Spencer also weighed in on Amber Tamblyn’s arrival and shared his thoughts on Huddy (hint: he’s a fan… sorta).

Then it’s time for Cameron to come back, but not for Chase. Oh no wait, that would ruin Huddy, oh gosh, we wouldn’t want her to jeopardize Huddy future, meaning a bunch of fangirls would have to kill themselves.

    • Sudsy

LOL you are too funny. Didnt you hear about that spoiler where Cameron finds out about huddy and jumps of a cliff? Yeah that was a good spoiler.

    • Rick

baby, if there’s one person who’s not a threat to HUDDY, it’s gotta be Cameron…
House slapped her down in S1, remember?

      • Louise

        Go Jesse!
Cameron is gone for good. Amen to that! They should have killed her off properly then all her jealous fans would maybe leave all other fans alone with their stupid comments. Go Jesse!

Hello? Season 7 about to start. House and Cameron are SO OVER.. Oh no wait! They haven’t been ANY House&Cameron.
      I’m so tired of Cameron…

    • Alex

She totally should be back. She wouldn’t be a threat for Huddy (unfortunately!), but the obvious tension between her & House would make the show more spicy…
But I don’t want Allison back for any relationship. I want to have this mature, strong, but still innocent & full of faith woman back on screen. There’s no replacement for Cameron. She’s one in a million. It’s a pity TPTB aren’t able to see it.

I’ll miss Cameron.. a little. I’ll miss her for what she used to be. Plus Chameron were kinda cute. But gee I’m glad she’s gone, if only for the fact that we have less of these duelling Huddy and Hameron fans posting about how much a threat she is or isn’t.
Seriously… I must have been watching a different show from you guys.

  • SamD

Do the americans get that “pig on the spit” reference? Cos last I knew that was an Aussie slang. Go Jesse! LOL!

    • Slimer

I didn’t get it for sure. Please explain?

  • jennwithapen

Fresh meat for the grinder???? No he didn’t!!!

  • Holy Huddy!

    sweet but hot Jesse!
    so funny!
    thanks Aussies!

  • David

    Muhahahahahaha!
    Jesse, you rock!!

  • Serena

Don’t worry Sally. Cameron could come back naked and throw herself at House for all I care. House LOVES Cuddy. Meaning no Cameron in this world would ever be able to ruin Huddy. Sorry to break it to you: Cameron is out of the game for good.

  • Fran

Jesse is awesome! I can’t wait for the seaso to start!!!

  • Nikki

Yay Chase, he’ll be the next real House with a lot of hookers, lol! Seriously, I am sooo looking forward to the next season. What bliss that Cameron’s gone… please don’t bring her back, and I do hope Chase has juicy story lines which do not involve love interests. They ruined a part of the character when they hook him up with Cameron. I want to see more of him. Btw nice to hear he’s not exactely “Huddy”. The hype is killing me already. ;)

  • Julie

This season is going to be soooooo great we get Huddy and Playboy Chase ;) Jesse is so gorgeous I hope there will be lots of shirtless scenes.

    • celeste

      Amen Sister!!!!

  • Liv

Jesse is the best! I’m confident that this will be a great season. Lots of Huddy for the Huddy fans and lots of Chase for Chase/Jesse fans ;) ;) ;)

  • ADC

I like his response about House and Cuddy in that he wouldn’t really care if they broke up. I’m pro the show myself, and if the House/Cuddy dynamic doesn’t work, I hope the writers move on from it fairly quickly.

  • Silz

haha you’re such a stalwart Huddy Ausie LOL :-D gotta love you for that! Jess was pussyfooting there :-P seems as he’s gonna have some fun! Bring it on!

In that picture, with that expression on his face, Spencer looks amazingly like Cary Elwes. It seems to me as if this show may be going over a little too much into soap opera territory. I have liked the serialized stories, and the “patient of the week” stories have gotten awfully repetitive, but I get a sense they’ve lost track of what the show is.

    • scott kendall

AGREED. I imagine after 6 years it would be tough to keep the exact same formula. However, if it ain’t broke….I long for the edge of the first 3/4 seasons. Not interested in “Huddy”. I think that will be the demise of the show, but I hope I am wrong.

  • celeste

Jesse Spencer is awesome… great to have Chase back on House… I was missing him… hope the new season brings a lot of Chase center episode.. God knows Ilike him more that any of the characters except for Cuddy, House and Wilson…

    • martina

And 13, and Foreman, and Taub, and.. OH! There are no more characters! Silly me. /sarcasm

  • kanne

So glad Chase is still around — I really hope we get to see more of him in his doctoring capacities, too. I’ve always felt he was the most ineresting duckling.

    • sam

      Me too, me too!!

      • Erin

        Me three!

As Nikki said far above, I hope there’s plenty of juicy storylines for him that just doesn’t purely cater to the romance side of things. He’s an interesting character from whom we still have a lot to learn and they still have plenty to draw from ala his parental issues, seminary days, surgery days, Dibala, etc.

Though I am glad to hear that he will have multiple women as in RL there’s no way that he would be receiving so little interest. He chased Cameron for what all those season ago, now it’s time to turn the tables! Bring on playboy Chase, playboy Taub – Ugh!
