House will always be on my list. Sorry NCIS. Think your going for a dip this year. Know so many people that stopped watching after the end of last season with the 80 year old actors and Gibbs father, mother-in-law, friend. To all you Ziva fans hope she goes on another show so you can see her more. She is one hot babe. Probably would be better for her career. LONG LIVE GLEE! Glee will be unstoppable this year. Even my grandmother loves that show.
“Did you hear that clicking sound? That’s the sound of millions of Tivo users deleting House from their playlist.”
ITA!!! here it is my click!!
I’m so giddy about what Adrianne Palicki had to say about Tim/Tyra. They do belong together and deserve a second chance with them ending up together. Tim/Lyla & Tyra/Landry are yesterday’s news. They were HS kinda of thing, but both Tim & Tyra matured and changed, so they def. need to end up together. Well said, Annie! I can’t wait
Thanks for the heads-up regarding Private Practice. Now I know I’ll never have to watch that show again. From episode #1 the producers teased us with Addison and Pete- when were they ever going to get together?? Then when they finally did, the writers bungled the whole thing. It was sooo sad to watch. Every show tainted with the ‘Ohh, she really wants Sam’ crap. No intelligent woman who loved her best friend would EVER consider marrying her best friend’s ex! Nor would her best friend ever truly forgive her. It’s just a bunch of ___. Nonetheless, allof that took a back seat to crazy Violet and all the drama of last season. And I don’t mean drama in a good way/ I am OVER this show.
I really like Jackson Gibbs, so I’m hoping that NCIS tidbit means he’ll be around for more than just the season opener.
As for House and Cuddy, I’m not surprised, but still disgusted. Huddy was why I quit watching House in the first place, despite how much I adore Hugh Laurie. Huddy makes me want to projectile vomit. So, sadly, nothing here to make me change my mind.
I really hope McDreamy doesn’t go to jail! I hope it’s really Owen.
House was so much more than “Huddy” this year. He lost so much this season and grew up so much and showed us all how to keep pushing through. He learned how to be a good friend to Wilson when he threw all that dirt away on Sam he paid Lucas to get. Wilson ask him to leave and instead of guilting Wilson into letting him stay he left. He even told Dr. Nolan that Wilson was a good friend.
We had some great medical cases. The episode Alvie was him the patient (suffering amnesia) felt closer to House than she did her husband. House (being totally unhouse-like)coached the husband on how to ease his wife so they could begin to establish something. He made sure Alvie got his immigration problems taken care of and then Alvie left.
In “Lockdown” he stated his fear of the leg getting worse, his relationship with Lydia and all the while getting locked in a room and bearing his soul with someone who was dying, whom he had turned the case down (didn’t think it was interesting enough).
By the time “Help Me” was 3/4 of the way through the show I was wondering how much more can he really take. Lisa Edelstein just let him have and that was like a culmination to a season in which we saw our guy get raked over the coals. (In his world anyway.) He wasn’t going to manipulate and get his way anymore. House had to learn a different route this year.
Hugh Laurie gave an emmy winning performance this season. Because in the last scene of “Help Me” I wasn’t really thinking about anybody coming in I just didn’t want him to take the vicodin. Him being on the floor was so symbolic. Every crutch he had ever had got jerked out from under him and Cuddy was right he had nothing.
I think the mark of a good show and characters is they have to reel the audience in and there are times you hate them, you love them, you want to smack them and the people around them. You laugh and you cry and you connect with the characters a little.
I think House gives us all these things. the show has changed and the characters have grown and that is life.
I think Hugh Laurie gave an emmy winning season to the audience this year. Just my opinion.
Have you people got nothing better to do than bashing House MD?! srsly, it’s a fictional television show for god’s sake, and it’s unhealthy to be so obsessive about such an issue. Noone is right or wrong about their opinion; that’s why they’re called OPINIONS! srsly, get a life, all of you. and those who no longer like the show, what the hell are you doing here?

My wife was followed by miwidves and was planning not to have epidural during her labor. However her water broke a little bit early (week 38) and was transferred to the hospital where she got simulated. Her pain was unbearable and she eventually had the drug. Still, in her next pregnancy hopefully she will have it all natural. Good luck!
