An unlikely winner has emerged in Gossip Girl‘s heated Dan/Serena/Nate triangle: Sam Page!
A Gossip rep confirms that the Desperate Housewives/Mad Men hottie is joining the cast for a multi-episode arc as Serena’s (Blake Lively) new love interest.
Page’s first episode is expected to fall in October. Gossip Girl‘s fourth season kicks off on Sept. 13.

I agree. Why not add a “Mark as Spam” icon to messages. Then if enough people mark a message as spam it notifies someone at EW so they can remove/review it.

Gossip Girl is a horrible show. I used to like it as a guilty pleasure, but it’s not even a pleasure anymore. The writing is horrible and the show is just generally boring nowadays. Oh and did I mention that Serena is the stupidest character on television and Nate is the most boring?
This is the first I’m hearing about it, thanks Ausi! Sam Page is hot. I hope he’s not a villain like Tripp. It’s high time for Serena to have a real man in her life and relegate Dan, Nate and all the other “kids” to just friends status.
I was looking over the fall premiere schedule yesterday, and I decided to break up with this show. Last year I had to force myself to catch up every few weeks, and it was never very good (Serena is a moron and completely boring, Chuck is very one-note, as is Blair. Dan’s pretentiousness is never funny – it’s annoying. The most interesting character, Eric, hardly got any screentime…). Mind you Jenny won’t be around much this year which is great, but it’s still not enough to make me care. EW should do another post about which shows people are breaking up with for the 2010/2011 season. This show tops my list. Between Chuck, The Event, HIMYM and my preferred guilty pleasure teen drama, 90210, Mondays are crowded enough. Two years ago I never would have thought I’d like 90210 more than GG, but I do. It’s just as ridiculous, but the characters are way more fun to watch. GG has gots to go.
I agree, even though 90210 is pretty bad, it’s still better than Gossip Girl. Its characters are more relatable!
Everytime I turn around, Serena has a new “love interest”. I don’t think she’ll ever have a serious boyfriend for long, lol. :p
I’m glad I stopped watching at the end of season 2. It sounds like the show really sucks now.
He’s a great jerk on MAD MEN as Joan’s doctor-husband but can’t quite see him on Gossip Girl.
