Devlin—who guest-starred in May’s harrowing two-part Grey’s finale as the husband of Mandy Moore’s ailing character—will reappear in this season’s sixth and seventh episodes (slated to air on Oct. 28 and Nov. 4). Moore is also making tracks back to Seattle Grace, although it’s unclear whether she’ll be in one or two episodes.
What brings the couple back to the scene of the crime? That also remains unclear. Got a theory? Hit the comments!

Geez, here I thought someone big was returning, lol. Although I think it’s great that the show is givig some continuation to patients who’ve once been admitted there. Especially those who were admitted at SGH during the shooting.
I agree, cause sometimes we just see a patient for one-episode length of their treatment (a couple days) and even though at the end they still have their illness or whatever, and most people generally keep the same doctor, they just like disappear. But that happens on all medical shows, not just Grey’s.
also agree. I am dying to know how Clara is doing with her new limbs, and what happened when her mom got there. (christina called ceviche, from this year’s season premiere)

I’m glad someone else thinks what I thought the moment I read Mandy Moore was coming back. Mind you, I liked the way she played her role, but how realistic is it that someone would go back to the hospital where they had such a traumatic experience? It is hard enough for the doctors to cope with the trauma of the shooting having to work daily where it happened, why on earth would a patient, who can choose to go and be treated somewhere else return?
Well if she’s brought in by ambulance, she probably does not have a choice of the hospital (especiall if unconscious).

I hope it’s not for something awful like Mandy’s character’s death or a lawsuit or something crazy. After the shooting episode, it’s time to have some good times and a return to some fun. The show doesn’t have to be all light-hearted, but I wish we could go back to the days of 50% laughs and 50% tears episodes.
I hope they just make more episodes then last season’s cause it was like 1 week was new and the next week was old for the whole season!!!!
