Love, Love, Love G.A.!! I had a new baby this past spring and spent many middle of the night feedings watching the seasons again on DVD. As fans, we can’t help but become invested into these characters. The character of Izzie was always one of my favorites. As a new mom myself, I can certainly understand Katherine Heigl’s decision to leave G.A. and her desire spend more time with her daughter. However, the way she abruptly left was extremely disappointing and the end to the Alex/Izzie relationship was odd and not believable in the terms of the love story that had already been created for
them. Shonda and the Grey’s writers delivered huge in the season 6 finale and it has reignited my faith in what is ahead. I don’t know how real it would feel to the audience to have the Alex/Izzie closure given without at least a couple of appearances by K.H. Anything else might feel like a half-hearted attempt to wrap the story and please the audience. I’m excited to watch and see what happens. Regardless, Grey’s Anatomy writers and Katherine Heigl will always have a huge fan in me!

Ok, so I’m as big a fan of Grey’s as anyone else, i’ve seen EVERY episode since DAY 1 of the show in March of 2005. Izzie HAS to return. How can Alex get any type of closure without her making a few appearances. I agree with most, if anything, she should have one of the cast members killed during the finale, or died with her cancer, but not this abrupt exit that no one saw coming unless you were reading up on her plans in the magazines. Anywho, I’d like to start a petition that GA be a 2 hour weekly show LOL. One hour is no longer enough for me.

IF KATHERINE WANTS TO COME BACK TO THE SHOW AS A REGULAR THEN LET HER. I WOULD LOVE TO SEE HER AND ALEX REUNITE… I WANT LEXI TO BE WITH MCSTEAMY. THEY WERE GOOD TOGETHER….ALEX AND LEXI NO.

IF KATHERINE JUST WANTS TO COME TO THE SHOW FOR JUST A WRAP UP AND SHE DOESN’T WANT TO BE A PERMANENT CAST MEMBER SEND HER ON HER WAY!

Seriously with the CAPS? Why are you shouting at us? Apologies if you are 85 years old and just learning to use the Internet – all Caps is popular with the silver-haired set.

There’s no way for them to achieve closure on this organically anymore. They HAVE to bring Heigl back into the story. What if she came back at the end of the season pregnant, with a new husband and a new life? If Alex was dating someone, it could push him into realizing that although they are “soul mates”, they’ll never be together.
