Image Credit: CBS/Cliff Lipson/LandovFive months after ascending to the big abacus in the sky, CBS’ Numb3rs is being revived by ABC.
Sources confirm to me exclusively that Judd Hirsch will reunite with his former TV son Rob Morrow in an episode of ABC’s new legal drama The Whole Truth.
Hirsch guest stars as Ruben Wright, a distinguished and well-respected judge who is accused of corruption and murder. He hires Morrow’s rising criminal attorney to represent him. Maura Tierney’s character, who tried the first case of her career in front of Judge Wright, reluctantly takes on the task of prosecuting him.
Truth premieres on Sept. 22. Hirsch’s episode is slated to air in October.

first?
Great job, but drop the question mark. Own first be the ONE. I mean no one cares about this Numbers crap. Lets get him with the Taxi crew.
Jersey Jeff you made me smile. Thank you.
If only he had the creativity to come up with his own nickname.
Jersey Jeff you are an idiot
“…CBS’ Numb3rs is being revived by ABC.”
No. It’s not. Two cast members appearing together on the same show does not mean that Numb3rs, the series, is being revived by ABC.
Why do you try so hard to mislead and inflate the interest of your stories? They are interesting enough to stand on your own without the “cutsie” deception.
Agreed.
I thought the same thing…
Oh, relax
Yup..revived by ABC? What a strange thing to say.
Because his replacement at TV Guide is starting to look pretty good…
Each run is separate. Yes, there is rest after each raietvnl. Work:Rest 1:1. Rest the exact time it takes to complete each raietvnl in a set. (200m in 35s, rest 35s, 400m in 1:20, rest 1:20, 600m in 2:00, rest 2:00, start the next round). No extra rest between rounds.
Seriously. I had my hopes up and everything. I was a big fan of Numb3rs.
In other news, does anyone care about this announcement?
Well, he didn’t say it was earthshattering news. He just needed to post something so his column didn’t look fallow.
Yes.
If you don’t care why open it, read it, comment on it?
Exciting!! But so a ratings gimmick.
Yea those TV networks are always trying to get us to watch TV shows, but we are on to them now!
LOL!
I care about this announcement. I’d enjoy seeing a Numb3rs reunion. But, as has been said already, this is not a ‘true’ Numb3rs reunion. Very misleading wording.
I agree completely. I care, because I was a fan of Numb3rs, and this article needs to be edited. A revival this isn’t.
Totally agree, I was excited for an Eppes family reunion just to have it burned to ashes. I loved Numb3rs and I was sad to see it go. I am happy for the actors who seem to have found plenty of projects to keep them busy.
Yeah but I was able to figure out right away it meant somebody from Numbers was guest starring on Whole Truth. I LOVED Numb3rs, and I will be giving this show a shot. Can’t wait for this episode.
I almost had a freakin’ heart attack.
Sadly, my boyfriend and I just broke up . . . uh hello?! Where’s the lame spambot I’ve come to expect within the first three posts???
I don’t know what to do without it…do I just read the comments? I’m so confused. Return to us spambot…return to us.
This really made me laugh! Thanks for that!
It doesn’t matter cause The Whole Truth won’t last a whole season.
I love “Numbers”
No you don’t, you like digits
I was already looking forward to The Whole Truth because of Maura Tierney’s involvement, but I’ll be excited to see Rob and Judd reuninted on-screen. Loved them on Numb3rs!
Hey, way to go there, Ausiello. I used to like your writing, but after making me think one of my favorite shows was coming back, only to discover it was just a sensationalist bait-n-switch piece, I now simply want to punch you right in the face.
I love Numb3rs and to give me hope it was picked up by another channel and yank it away like that was just mean! Besides deceitful and low!
I loved Numb3rs, and it was cruel to make us think it was picked up by ABC! CBS was crazy to cancel it!!!!!
I love Numb3rs and . . . wait, no I don’t. Nob3dy does.
