All things considered, even though I know it’s pointless, I’m cheering for Booth and his new girlfriend to stay together. Who cares about Brennan and her inability to maintain any semblance of societal interaction? She had the chance. She blew it. Booth has moved on. I wish I could delude myself into thinking that the new girlfriend will be permanent.

So true. Brennan had her chance. She broke his heart. I get why he needs to move on. I just hope this period is of moving on is quick. Before I get tired and stop watching.

Angela: Let’s see, breaks up with Hodgins, jumps from one relationship to another, including a friend of Hodgins, marries Hodgins after a 15 minute talk in jail no less, then takes off to Paris cause they don’t want to have to train new agent or scientist, entitled much??
ITA. I was waiting ‘to love Angela again’ as I was promised and it never happened.
The Hodgela wedding was one of the most ridiculous things I have ever seen and came with absolutely nothing to convince me that Angela deserves Hodgins. The writers, tptb, whoever, completely ruined a hot couple by splitting them up unnecessarily and by throwing in a few SO obstacles.
Don’t know her. Don’t like her. Want her to go far far away.
I doubt I will “love” her ever. It’s B*B all they way. When will the producers and writers get this?
sounds to me like the new girl will see whats going on between b and b and step down, pushing them closer together- that would explain we’ll love her later on….
That’s the thought that came to my mind as well.
I am tire of the B and B, push and pull. Perhaps, Bones needs this to realize what she is losing. I find prolonged sexual tension boring and pointless after a while. Bones has reached and exceeded my “no-longer-care” level. Whether this was planned by the writers or it is a misstep on their part, will be determined as the seasons go forward.

I hate the plot device. It’s tired. It’s another way to prolong B/B getting together and frankly, at this point in the relationship, that is pretty unbelieveable.
My concern is if they are destroying the Booth character that we know to take up with another after saying he knew from the start that he loved her and giving up too soon. While I support Booth moving on, this is going to ruin the whole show for me.
Same here. I just can’t see how they can write it without me thinking ‘well, that’s just destroyed the entire Booth character for me’.
If he loves Hannah now, after 7 months, then did he ever really love Bones, the woman he professed to ‘know’ was the one. If he doesn’t love Hannah (and is using her to make Bones jealous as DB insinuated), then where is the ‘making love, vs. crappy sex’ Booth? If he just likes Hannah and is using her to get back his Boothiness, then that pretty much sucks too.
I can’t see how they can write it that I’ll still feel the same about the characters afterwards. And that goes for if/when BB finally get together. It’s cheapened. I don’t see how that can happen this season either.
I never thought they would have Bren fight over Booth, tptb have enough trouble with all the negative spoilers coming out after a dismal finale, without trashing Brennan.
I don’t care about Hannah, I’m concerned about how Booth will be portrayed in this story.
Also, the words ‘damage control’ spring to mind.
Trouble is, we’ve all been burned before. No-one believes a word they ‘spin’ or say anymore.
The last season ended on such a downer and this is supposed to make people tune in? I don’t think so. Let me know when she’s gone and I might think about it.

They always say you’re going to “love” the new love interest. I can’t think of a time where this has happened. I hated Riley on Buffy. And Vaughn’s wife on Alias. And don’t get me started on Diana Fowley (though maybe she was hatable on purpose). That’s something you say so the actress takes the job.

Was anyone else struck how much the new character physically resembles Booth’s ex (mother of his son)? Now that could bring up some very interesting angles to this whole thing. I could see Sweets having a field day with all that.
I think it’s been talked about before (maybe not on the show but by fans)about he usually goes for blonds (Tess, Rebecca, Hannah) but after he met Brennan he dated Catherine, who was very similar to Brennan. I don’t know where Cam fits into that though, since they dated before he met Brennan, and Cam’s (obviously) a brainy (beautiful) brunette scientist.
I’ll never like this Piece of trash. SN doesn’t know what he’s talking about. I hope people tune out. I know I will.
