TLC to premiere show featuring America's 'first Latino sextuplets'

Tags: , News

TLC announced today that it will debut a new series on Sept. 14 featuring the Carpio sextuplets, or whom the cable network is billing as “America’s first Latino sextuplets.”  The four boys and two girls, at 22 months, just learned to walk and will be taught two languages in the eight-part series Sextuplets Take New York. The mom and dad is Victor and Digna Carpio, who also share their Queens, NY home with a 9-year-old son.

The babies were born weighing less than 2 lbs each. The show is from Figure 8 Films, the production company that is responsible for Kate Plus 8, Table for 12 and 19 Kids and Counting, all on TLC.

Great! Another family TLC can exploit for profit!

    Not again…

  • ADC

I’m on overload with these shows that feature so many children. The only thing I’m learning from “The Learning Channel” is that I don’t want to have kids.

      heh heh… good one, adc!!!

There should be a “Like” button here, too, for the comments. Totally agree with you, ADC!

Oh good, I was hoping for another show about multiples………! (not)

  • John

WOW – so creative (snark) and original (snark) of TLC to feature a family of many children (snark, snark) – this should make for some really interesting (NOT) television -

P.S. – yes, this is sarcasm people – TLC is run by brainless zombies who like to exploit families who want to be exploited

  • Jethro

Why is this such a staple now to have multiples and their own show? It’s the learning channel for pete’s sake, what would we learn from watching this show?

    Nada!!!

  • molly

Does TLC feature any shows other than families with a lot of kids or little people? Probably why I don’t watch the channel anymore.

  • Johnification

Six kids is nothing to a Latino! Most Latino families have lost more kids than that at the local mall.

    • Jethro

      Thats a low blow!!!

      • Johnification

        You know its true!

    • Ceballos

If I actually thought the real Johnification would say that, I might be offended.

    • Jackie

very rude, I enjoyed the show. It was very endearing.

  • White Angel

    Check their papers!

  • Emily

How about a reality show about a nice normal couple with 1-2 kids and a dog?

  • Mona Cafone

A still Nadya Suleman gets no show, why?

Finally walls are being broken and humanity prevails and NerdDatingSite was exceptional

  • ryl

This is so amazing. Its such a full time job with enough funds to bring up the kids. I wish them well.

  • Lucy

Come on people why you got to go there? Check there papers? Making fun of latinos saying 6 kids is nothing to them if you don’t have anything nice to say don’t say it I Liked The Show

  • Lulu

I love the Carpios and their family. This is a warm and loving family with beautiful children, and I’d like to see TLC or whomever to give them a chance to stay on TV.
