The coordinating outfits. The body language. Brennan’s sexy new ‘do. The cadaverous paws. And a tagline that screams, “Sex by May Sweeps!” Well, that’s what it screams to me anyway. I think she portrays the character perfectly. Tempe is suppose to be a socially awkward genius. I know a few brilliant scientists and she hits it right on with the odd way she phrases her speech.

You’re so right, Jengi. I used to work at a major university, and the most brilliant scientists there were, as a whole, majorly socially awkward, even moreso than Brennan.

I think she can act but she uses the same inflection for almost every sentence, which I believe is intentional, albeit annoying.
That is just her character. I really like her. She grew up thinking everyone left her. So she cut off her emotions. Over the years Booth and the Squints have showed her what family is like.
She is a good actress and her injection is part of the roll. Besides, if you looked that good, who is looking at her shoes.

Obviously you haven’t seen a live interview with either of the sisters as neither speak in this manner in real life. Both are funny, articulate, and have great inflection in their speech. Mistaking a role for the real person is a common mistake – so to speak…

My greatest hope and prayer is that Hart and the other writers will have mercy on us and somehow get rid of Booth’s girlfriend and get them back on track.After a few minor twists and turns once in a while ,let them get married eventually!! I do think though Brennan could make the first move once in awhile. Think that would be nice!!!!

They totally have to get Brennan and Booth together!!! He is one of the only people in the world she truly trusts. If they don’t end up together she is totally going to die old and alone without ever knowing true love! That would be far to tragic for prime-time TV. Although David Boreanaz has said in interviews that they might end the series as just friends. That would majorly suck. =(
