Looks awesome. Clark and Jonathan, so wonderful to see father and son again. And poor Lois!!!!!!

    • magali

      Haaaaaaaaaa get rid of Lois.Failureeeeeeeeeeeeeee

      • kiki

        Haaaaaaaaaaaaaa, Chloe troll strikes again.

      • kiki

Kiki is my name and i love sucking balls..Give me your number.I can suck them like Erica

      • Dee

        Lois Lane is AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • B

This is seriously so awesome! Thanks for the pic Aus! I can’t wait for this season to start.

  • JPX

I’ve never seen a single episode of this series and will continue to avoid it until I’m informed that Clark is wearing the Superman suit and fighting crime. I can’t imagine how people could watch this show year after year without Superman being in it. I can’t think of anything more dull. Also, isn’t “young” Clark about 40 years old by now?

    • bubble

      no, about 30.
and who cares if you don’t watch? or, better, why are you here if you don’t care about something that dull?
      bye.

    • Jen

JPX, do you know how ignorant you sound? What kind of person bashes something that they’ve never even seen? It’s one thing to watch it and then decide it’s not for you but to state proudly that you’ve never watched it and say that you’re sure it’s boring? What a moron. Did it ever occur to you that people watch it because they like it? Because even without the suit, they enjoy learning about this character and the rest of the cast and watching them grow through the years? P.S. Clark is 25 on the show.

    • Helen

If you’ve never seen an episode of SV why are you bothering to read spoilers about it? Seems like a basher just wanting to put down the show…

      • laurnepatron

        hate the haters!!!!!!!!!!!

    • Brian

“Young Clark” is in his mid 20s now. 24.
And isn’t complaining about the lack of a suit kinda silly, when he’s been doing mostly the exact same things he’d be doing in the suit, except in street clothes? I mean, it’s a minor detail.

    • J

      For real?

Too bad you’ve never seen it because if you had you’d realize that Clark Kent on Smallville doesn’t need blue tights to prove he’s Superman.

    • sunset

Smallville is pre-Superman which literally means before Clark becomes Superman.
It is a show about Superman’s life before he literally wears the suit.

  • Kyle

Too bad they couldn’t have the shirt off, would’ve made the scene that much more better ;) Smallville’s gonna kick ass this season finally the show is doing it right.

  • bubble

just a thought: didn’t al septien say that lois and clark would appear in a cornfield before homecoming? maybe the first pic is from the scene?
i find it weird that they’d release a still from an episode scheduled to air in october

    • sunset

      That’s right! Good catch!
So it’s possible that both spoiler pics are from Lazarus.

  • 1eclecticviewer

Can’t frakkin’ wait for the premiere of Smallville’s Season 10! With these images, I’m just salivating for more. Thanks so much for giving us a peek!

  • Mary

Michael, thank you for the images. It’s great to see Clark with his father again. I’m sure I’ll cry during that reunion. I have no idea why Lois is strung up like the Scarecrow (a nod to the pilot episode of the series) but it looks interesting. I also agree that it’s a clear nod to the recent Superman Batman comic where Lois was burned at the stake by the Superman cult. Should be good. I’m really looking forward to the final season of the show. Thank you for your continued coverage of the show over the years.

  • Jason

this is freakin badass man when does smallville come back? thanks for the pics aussieman.

  • Eva

Smallville doesn’t need to crucify Lois; it seems some people have done so already…

Anyway, SUPER excited for the new season and for Clark and Lois to come into their own. This episode looks very exciting… I just can’t wait!

And great to see Pa Kent, too!!

    • Tucker

      Ha! Too true.

    • magali

Naah we want to see Lois dead..that is better. She is fake anyway.

      • chlois theory is dead

because everyone knows chloe is the real Lois solely because of the journalism aspect. nevermind the fact that she doesn’t have a spitfire personality and doesn’t have an ounce of sexiness.

      • kiki

Chloe doesn’t even have a microgram of sex appeal. Seriously, she’s the antithesis of sexiness, and she has made Oliver Queen a sexy-free zone too!!!

      • kiki

Chloe is the real lois lane duhhh

      • superman

dame i thought a ho like you would have went to bed by now i guess real sluts don’t sleep

      • Rob

        No way!!!!
Chloe is the most boring awfull and useless character on screen
Are you serious? She isn’t good enough to be Lois Lane
She isn’t even good enough for Lana lol

    • Sunset

      Chloe is the real Lois.
      Erica/Lois is fake.
      Sexiness?
      Selby has more sexiness..

      • kiki

And yet even Shelby is better looking than Chloe.

      • kiki

        Lois is a mega slut

      • superman

still ho’n long night i thought slut has to sleep but i guess you are a special slut

      • superman

i am still ho’n long night i thought slutty Chloevillsucks among others was to sleep but i guess we are a special sluts like Erica Durance

      • Bon

Hey name stealer. ‘Slut’ seems to be your favorite descriptor. Is this the word of the day for typical low rent Allison Mack worshippers? I wonder if other celebs are jealous that they don’t have quality fans like you!

  • Kat

I love how they are nodding to the beginnng of Smallville. Too bad Lois wasn’t there so it feels empty and most of the people that watched from the beginning aren’t watching now. So it’s all lost on the clois shippers that just started watching last season.

    • Austin

Umm speak for yourself I’ve been watching the show since the pilot, so no its not lost, I and my friends have been diehard fans of the show and have watched since the pilot, thank you very much.

    • Jesse

What are you talking about? I’ve been watching Smallville since the pilot first aired.

    • bubble

not really. i was 9 when i started watching the show and i still do after 9 years, and i will watch the entire 10th year too AND I LOVE LOIS AND CLARK. so yeah, like austin said, speak for yourself.

      • MISHELLE FREY

im been watching since the pliot i love smallville and i love lois/clark there the best

    • fan

Who die and make you the speaker person for smallville fans ,im a clark kent fan and haved been sence the pilot so please dont speak for me. THANKS

    • VM

Wow, awesome a lot there, don’t you?

      • VM

Sorry, that was supposed to be “assume” *rolls eyes at self*

    • Tess

i am a clois shipper and i’ve been watching since season 1.

    • Helen

Oh, please. There are plenty of Lois and Clois supporters who have been there from the beginning. It’s such a ridiculous concept that only non-Lois fans could have possibly tuned in for the first three seasons. I’ve watched since the pilot and I’m a huge Lois and Clois fan. Been with the show for 10 years, and proud of it! Also, very excited for this new season!

      • Tess

        Stop lying..There was no Lois/Erica in S1 till 4.
Smallville had no Lois Lane except for the Proto type Lois Lane/Chloe Sullivan.

      • Chloevillesucks

It means Chloe wasnt good enough!
        Chloe sucks!

      • magali

LOis dying get ready for it.

      • magali

Omg I hope they wont kill my dear Chloe..
They know no one likes her.. oh please don’t kill Chloe off.

      • magali

I suck D*K i do it well like LOis.

      • Rob

Chloe will be killed and forgoten
        Deal with it!

    • Troy

I’m on the same boat as the others. I’ve watched this show since the pilot with that young fresh eye Clark to the man he is now. I’ve enjoyed the ride, and have supported this show for the past 10 years. I think making generalizations about how this is lost or that Clois fans started watching the show is kind of lame. I’m a Clark and Lois fan yet I’ve watched the show since its inception regardless because of Clark Kent.

      • Bryce

Okay but this show had 9 million viewers. Now it’s just 2 mil. Yeah shows go down every season but after Lex and Lana left the numbers went down by half to 2 mil.

      • Katrina

actually it was pretty high til it moved to Fridays. If you’re going to mention a ratings drop, at least know how the ratings work first. Yes, some might have left bc KK or MR aren’t in it, but you should know that every show, every network on Fridays? Poor ratings. Mondays and Fridays are the worst time slots when it comes to ratings.

      • Troy

This show isn’t on the now defunct WB network. WB network back in the days was a huge network like the CBS, ABC, NBC are right now. Anyways I’m not going to get into this, but you’re comparing apples to oranges. CW is not readily available to all American households and its a the smallest network on television, highest rated show is TVD at 3.5 mill on Thursday nights. Supernatural who used to be on the WB network just like Smallville are now getting 2 million viewers but it doesnt mean diddly squat because you have to look at the network logistics. Also just to point out Friday nights are the nights that networks put their shows they want cancelled mid way yet Smallville being on the CW didnt better then all the other shows on better nights, heck they were neck for neck with Supernatural a show that’s on Friday nights. If you’re expecting any show on the CW to get 9 million viewers you’re dreaming. I think people need to look at the overall numbers for the CW, TVD gets 3.5 mill on Thursday nights, that’s the higest rated show. Supernatural and Smallville are paired up on Fridays because they are two strong shows who can handle their own on Fridays. Case closed. I hate it when folks bring up ratings, Supernatural fans were bashed because we had 2 mill for our 100th episode that means nothing, CW is a crap network at best, hell they arent even promoting Smallville and Supernatural because Dawn-O has a major fetish for these lame shows like Gossip Girl and 90210. WB was a great network back in the days, CW has been marginally cut down by Warner Brothers thus why its pretty much defunct now, I wouldn’t be surprised if the CW network folds in a couple years when Smallville and Supernatural leave. Count on it!

      • sunset

Love it when fans defend Smallville and still be so eloquent!

But love better reading posts of those who have watched since the premier and are defending Clois!!

    • Brett

      You are right Kat.
Lois Failed and so did Clois.
No wonder the series is ending.
DO isn’t promoting Smallville because it has lost so many viewers. It was like to have gotten canceled by the 11th season.ALl due to Clois and it’s massive failure.

      • Ema

you are wrong! why do you think there will be another season??
the ratings in latinA were over 20 millions of viewers! WOW

      • winnie

@ Brett. How’s this for a rebuttal to your ‘massive clois failure’. The ratings only started to tank AFTER the return of LANA in the now ‘legendary’ Arc of Suck/Skank/Sh*t (take your pick) in the middle of season 8. Before that the viewing numbers were great for the CW (much better than the current ratings leader, Vampire Diaires). I guess you could say Kristin Kreuk nearly killed off Smallville, like she nearly skewered Chuck’s chances of renewal. The ratings for that show were pretty good before her appearance. Afterwards? Not so much! But NBC is in trouble, so Chuck is able to live on for another year! Smallville has been on for 10 long years. How much longer do you expect it to last for?!!

      • magali

Get your facts straight.Rating fell to a meager 2mill.
        20 million?
        you dreamin

      • Ema

Oh Winnie KK is more beautiful than Lois and her inflatable boobs.I think Smallville ending. No Clois failed.

      • Ema

to magali: I said in LatinA!!!
the ratings were over 20 millions viewers there!!!

      • Ema

Read this Lois lane is a Slut.and Clois failed.

      • Ema

KK with no breasts is more beutifull than Lois..
Why my Chloe isn’t? If she wasn’t so ugly she would has more fans.
But I still love my bellied Chloe

      • Scott

I agree the ratings are still really good

  • Helen

I want to see this episode *now*!!!! So excited!!!! Why are the days going by sooooo slow??? :(

  • VM

Wow!!! I’m just…WOW! I was already excited for this season and this has just ramped up my excitement a hundredfold!

I am also soooo thrilled to see Erica in 22 eps, so we can have a full season of Lois/Clois goodness :-)

I can’t wait to see the premiere!

  • Shannon Daly

This show is still on? Huh.

    • Nancy Janda

This is what normal people thing. Ausiello, cover something the masses care about.

    • sunset

Yeah! Smallville’s on it’s 10th and last season.

Making it the longest running sci-fi show in North America.

    • winnie

Yup. The show is still on. And it didn’t need Lana, Lex or more Chloe to get renewed for season 10.

      • Judi

The ratings will improve with less Chloe.

      • Judi

It will Fail with out CHloe.

      • Bon

Chloe is a ratings drain. The second half of seasons 8 and 9 proved that.

    • Judi

      Not for long.

  • kikikiari

WOW. I’m kinda shock to see the picture… This season is gonna be awesome!! I can’t wait for it to start…

  • Jen

I suppose Lois being ‘crucified’ is to show that she’s Clark’s soul mate, and shares his sufferings and all that crap. God, this show is ludicrous.

    • k

so if this was the comics, and the above would be true, would it still be ludicrous? or is it that you hate this version of the characters? I think I’ve seen you mention before that you don’t agree with a few things, which I honestly think is the writers fault if anything. cutting corners and all that

    • Troy

I’m sure if Lana or Chloe were up there everything would be peachy great right? C’mon now… Also, Lois being crucified, one has to think outside the box on what kind of imagery this is portraying. I would give you a long answer to what it means and no its not being Clark’s soulmate, but I’m gonna refrain by being a total bore I know my kids won’t be happy if Dad goes on another long diatribe. But just food for thought, think outside the box, maybe its the comic geek in me but the imagery is quite shocking and I’m sure Clark is going to learn something very meaningful from this, trust me.

    • sunset

I don’t think Lois has to be “crucified” to show me she’s Clark’s soul mate. Season 9 has shown me that.

      • Bon

I wish I felt the same way. I love ED and TW as Lois and Clark, but all season 9 showed me was that Clark is happier with Lois than he ever was with Lana. The Requiem episode in season 8 left open the suggestion that Clark wouldn’t necessarily choose Lois over Lana if he was given the choice. The writers/showruner were obviously pandering to the clana fans, hoping to retain their viewership. Sort of backfired, since they seem to have lost a lot of dillusioned clois fans instead.

      • Bon

        Oops. ‘showrunners’, not ‘showruner’.
